You’ve had a lot on your plate, it’s okay. We don’t expect you to come back 100%, that wouldn’t be fair to you. We’re just glad you’re back.

If there’s anything I’ve come to know about that girl, it’s that she can handle anything anyone throws at her. It might... well it will be surprising, but it’s not completely unfelt by the other person. And I think that she would face anything if it meant keeping you, Mac.

Well, given the situation as it is, about as good as we can be. The twins are great… Wil’s great with them. Just some unwelcome visitors dropping by the house unannounced bugging me, but nothing incredibly major. How are you all holding up?

Don’t we make a pair.

We’re about the same, everything is a transition and not the happy one it was supposed to be. We were supposed to be parents and now we’re these new things, having to learn all of these new things with twins. I’d say it should be impossible, but we barely need to sleep so... that’s one bonus that makes things easier.

She didn’t believe he was trying to change, not when his appearance spoke the exact opposite. She raised an eyebrow at him, rolling her eyes at the ego of witches. Everyone seemed to forget that she’s an Alpha, even herself for a moment, and being an Alpha meant more power than your average supe. “Thanks but no thanks.”
