Lailah looked at Zaveid with big eyes. Did she hear well? She wasn’t sure at all. Yet, knowing him, it was possibly something like... Flirt.
“Zaveid... I think you should wear a hat or you’ll burn. And not because of the sun.”

I mean... There’s a lot of grammar mistakes (english isn’t my native language) and it’s not even canon. It’s just our interpretation of the characters.

Dezel couldn’t help but to chuckle at the corrupted commentary, looks like she forgot with who she was talking. But he didn’t cared , after all she made the contract with him no matter what. “ You are right” he replied to the first comment.“ So , I don’t want to see our Big Sister Lailah so pouty. All the kids would be so sad if they saw you like that”
The wind Seraph smiled a little. For what he had hear from Mikleo Sorey was still naive and innocent to some things. “ Yet , he still have to learn more and more about human. While he is a bridge between the both of our races, I’m sure that traveling with us will teach him more and more about today’s society” He haven’t met a Seraph , but he knew the other had to grow up before dom more wonderful things.
“ Dragons uh?” He mumbled , he wasn’t sure about this either. If he turned into a dragon thanks to this corruption….. “ Yeah ,we can’t lose!” he said in a cheerful tone that was even strange for him.
It was rather strange to hear Dezel chuckle but it felt good too, even if the situation wasn’t the best for that.
“Eh!? So you see me as Big Sister! I’m so happy about that!” It wasn’t the moment to make jokes but Lailah couldn’t help herself. She loved making jokes, not matter what time it was. “But yes, you’re right. At least, I shouldn’t show them this face, right?”
That’s true that Sorey needed to learn a lot more about humans. Having lived with Seraphim, he lacked of some knowledge that could help him during his mission.
“You’re right. Rose will help him too, and all the meeting we’ll do will be an important thing not only for him, but also for us.”
She hoped that Edna would stop hating humans, for example. Or Dezel being more open with them, if not with humans or other seraphim. She did hope this travel would help everyone.
“Yes! And may I tell you that Hellions still follow us?” She stated, preparing her weapons once again.

『いいの』と笑って、ザビーダがライラの髪と遊んでいた。

「心配しないで！」と答えて、けどライラががっかりした。
ツインテールなザビーダはかっこいみたいだから。
「私の髪を切る・・・？まぁ、たぶんいいアイディアですけど、未だいい長さですわね。」
答えるながら、火の天族がドレスからブラシを公開した。
「いいですわ、ザビーダさん？」

“Ah. I see.” He chuckled. “Well you do know more about the humans, Lailah. So, I’ll do what Miss Lailah says. I need to learn more about the people I’m serving anyway.”
“So - for medicine they don’t find the herbs and remedies themselves? That’s how I was taught growing up. And when I was too sick a Seraph would heal me. But I suppose they can’t rely on artes…” The brunette tapped a finger against his chin. There was much he had to learn about his kind. They lived far differently than he had in Izuchi.
Quickly glancing at the request again, Sorey spun to face the street. “The house is this way right?”
“Yes, I had plenty of time to learn about the humans.” Lailah answered with a big smile. “You’re all so different yet alike. That’s wonderful!”
“From what I’ve seen before, humans in town doesn’t need to search for herbes and remedies themselves. There are special stores in town and they can buy what they need.”
It was convenient for people because they could have herbs and remedies faster than before. But poor people had barely the chance to get even one herb or remedy. It was a pity and when Lailah saw this, she couldn’t help but feel sad.
“Yes, it is. Ready?”
“ We have to believe in something” he smiled and reassured Lailah “ If we lost our faith , we will get corrupted right?” Dezel couldn’t help but to think about what he was saying , he was already corrupt himself. But at the same time Lailah let him made a contract with her.
Maybe because he kept this inside of his and never allowed him to consume him , like the Hellions they left behind , or like the dragons they saw. The last one was the final stage , and he knew that, if he lose control…he Will turn into one.
“ I’m sure you choose Sorey for that reason” the win Seraph continued “ He will be the bridge between us and human , if we work together we will able to push away this impurity” and return to the old times, that was Sorey’s dream right? Both species lived on this planet and if both worked together , this Darkness would not be so powerful as it is now.
“Yes, you’re right.” Lailah answered with a soft smile. “We don’t want to get corrupted. We want to live for a long time, surrounded by people we love.”
Dezel was totally right. How could she forget about it? She had done a contract with Sorey for this reason. The corruption should disappear and they would do their best all together.
“I think Sorey is the best choice in centuries. He’s a humain having been raised by seraphim... He knows more than everything that the most important thing is to live together and having faith.”
“Sorey... Sorey will be our savior. I’m sure he can even save Dragons...”
Even if her last statement was rather strange - nobody had found a way to save Dragons - she knew deep in her heart that Sorey could.
“So, we can’t lose!”

“ Tsk….This seems to never end” Dezel then attacked more Hellions. how many of this corrupted things were here , he asked to himself as he used Avenger Bite on them. He wondered what were their plans. Revolution? Maybe , without the ability fo purify the world will fall in chaos and who knows what will happen to the last ones who are pure.
“ I CAN’T WASTE MORE TIME ON THIS” said so , he grabbed Lailah and carried her to the exist, running really fast like his element. they needed to find Sorey and bring him here , unless Lailah could literally purify everthign here…or on the other hand , Zaveid arrived here with his gun and….
Lailah did her best to purify the Hellions but there were so many that she couldn’t take care of all of them. How did it happen? She wondered sadly. How come so many people and Seraphim could turn into Hellions... Even with Sorey as the Shepherd, it looked like the Hellions continued to appear more and more often.
Suddenly, Dezel grabbed the fire seraph, shouting, and started running. She only could follow but she didn’t mind. She took a last glance to the Hellions. They really needed Sorey right now. They would need to come back in there.
“Dezel... Do you think we’ll be able to save them with Sorey’s help?”
The woman didn’t know why she asked that; they were running away this chaos, so why would she ask that when she should focus on staying alive till a secure area? The fate of the Hellions... She was afraid that they could get worse than now.

“Of course. You can count on me for watching your back!”
And she hoped nothing bad would happen. If they could leave this place without problem, it would be really great. And also a miracle. She could still hope for that, right?
The fire seraph followed the wind seraph until he gave her orders. Quickly, she went behind him, preparing herself, ready to use her weapons on the enemies who were approaching.
“Okay. Take care, Dezel.”
If things went bad - and she hoped not - she would heal him. But for now, she would purify the Hellions who came near them.
If they were only humans…this could have been really easy. But now they were corrupted by Darkness and the could see both of them. The only hope they would have was to be purified or die by the hand of someone else. whatever the end of this was, they couldn’t let them walk around like this , the capital was already stinking on darkness and the atmosphere was awful.
“Jealous!”
The seraph attack to them throwing the Hellions to the walls to knock them out. some fo them resisted, but the nly this he was making was open a path for themselves to run away from this place and warn the others about the plans. “ Lailah , everything okay in your side?”
When Hellions arrived in the place, Lailah prepared herself, watching at her friend’s back and at every hellion’s moves. It was a pity to arrive at the point of having a tainted heart. Lailah couldn’t help but being really sad for every of them, wondering what had happened in their life for living with hatred.
The fire seraph sent her weapons on every hellions that stepped close, and used her spell to purify them. One by one, it looked that they became to what they had been, but there was still a lot...
“Yes, it’s okay, don’t worry for me. Take care of you, Dezel. Some are coming from above.”
And, saying that, she threw her weapons on some of the hellions who were jumping over them.
“If you knew you were going to die next week, would you tell people or live the way you were till the end?” (Mibo)
“Mikleo, are you alright?”
Lailah hadn’t expected something like that from Mikleo. She was even surprised he asked her something like that.
“Hm… That’s a good question… Maybe I would tell it to my close relatives but…” She tilted her head. “I would tell it to the Shepherd as it is something really important, but not to my friends. I don’t want them being sad.”

Mikleo’s question took all its sens now. Of course the water seraph was tormented by this fact. Why wouldn’t he? After all, Sorey was his best friend, if it wasn’t more.
With a soft smile, she put a hand on his shoulder and told him:
“Sometimes, words are difficult, you know. Sometims, people needs acts but not talk. Sorey… Maybe knowing that we - and especially you - are by his sides is enough for him.”
She poked his cheek.
“Or maybe he’s so scared that he doesn’t want to show it. Maybe he’s waiting for us to talk with him about it.”
To be honest, Lailah wasn’t sure. It remembered her the time where she had been with Mikel. She had seen his heart getting darker and darker and she had done nothing. She hadn’t been able to help him. She didn’t want to do the same mistake with Sorey but what could she do? Besides, it wasn’t the sam thing: Mikel’s heart was crazy because of Heldalf’s acts but Sorey’s heart was so pure that he was ready to sacrifice himself for the sake of the world.
For the first time since years, Lailah felt useless.
He appreciated Lailah gesture. The fire seraph was a kind person, but not being in their place, she could know what Mikleo was going through.
“I know, but… You know, I’ve never lived without him. It seems so… Unnatural, so inconceivable!”
He didn’t know what to add. The only thing on his mind, lately, was that he was going to lose what he hold the dearest in his life. Of course he understood Sorey wanted to enjoy the rest of his life, but himself felt a bit… Left out. His solitude would just be the consequence of the Shepherd’s disappearance.
“I don’t know. Maybe I’ll try. But I don’t want to make him feel bad, either. Look at him, being all happy around everyone…”
He sighed, watching Sorey having fun with Zaveid and the girls, and shook his head.
“I’m sorry, Lailah. I guess I’m overthinking what’s coming up.”
“You know, it doesn’t mean he won’t come back. Miracles exist and knowing Sorey, everything can happen.”
Lailah hoped so at least. She wanted to believe that Sorey would come back in a way or another. Unlike Mikle, Sorey was so pure that everything could happen. She wanted to explain it to the water seraph but how? He would probably think that it was a stupid thing to believe...
“Do as you wish. But if I was you, I wouldn’t keep it in my heart. You know it’s not good, either for you or Sorey. You know each other so well... You’re the only who can decide about that. I... I didn’t really talk with Mikel and did you see what had happened? Of course, it’s not the same situation, but...

許されるのために、ザビーダにハーグした。そして、男の人はライラの髪を接触した。火の天族は本当にプックリだったけど、笑顔した。
「ザビーダさんの髪もかっこいいですわね。わたしはザビーダさんの髪を整えますか？」

The newly named Shepherd frowned and tapped his foot in place. The other day he realized how important money was to the humans. They used it for everything.
He couldn’t just expect someone to offer goods and services if he looked helpless enough or offered to perform a task in return. As Mikleo once said, humans are a stubborn, selfish race of people. If something can be done themselves, they did it.
What was this called again? Ah yes, a “job request board.” Sorey didn’t need much money. He and his Seraph partners had reasoned that he might want an “emergency fund” for times such as the other day.
And as a Shepherd he couldn’t resist helping the humans.
What to pick… there was only so much he could do before they had to move on…
The Lady of the Lake looked at the new Shepherd carefully, with eyes full of hopes and amusement. If she had understood well, it was his first time in the human world and everything he saw looked like a wonder for him.
The fire seraph tilted her head, her eyes going from Sorey’s face to his foot, before coming back on his face. He probably needed help to choose something, she reasoned. Even though he didn’t need money - and the seraphim didn’t need it at all -, they concluded that for an emergency case, it could be useful. So, the brunette was searching for a job...
“It will be fine to start with an easy one, you know? For example...” She looked at the board and pointed one of the job request. “Someone needs help to buy medicine. In add, this person lives close to here and, besides, you’ll be able to learn about life in the city. What do you think?”

Generally, Lailah did her best to avoid men, especially when they were trying to have a skin contact with her. Generally, she was fast to avoid them. But there, right now, she hadn’t been able. Not when she was the one falling on Zaveid. Next time, she would look where she was walking.
“I’m sorry, Zaveid, I…” The fire seraph started but stopped quickly.
His hand was on her back, unbuttoning her dress. So, with a big smile on her lips, she stated:
“Zaveid, can you take off your hand from my back, please? You’ll be a gentleman.”
To be sure he would do it, she put her knee just in front of what made him a man, ready to hit this precious place.

Shit, she had caught him. And he was in a veeeery delicate situation, now. Smiling widely, he slipped his hand away from the fire seraph’s dress’s buttons, and on her waist.
“Here. Away from your back, m’lady. Safe and sound we are.”
He couldn’t help but think that people in this group were all weird. Though he had known for a while that Edna was the kind of people who had a hard time showing their emotions, and sometimes played on it, he wouldn’t have though Sorey wasn’t interested in girls - seriously, how did he do? - or that Mikleo would only have eyes for the Shepherd, nor that Lailah was the kind to push away guys. Honestly, the only normal person in that group was Rose, and she was still grieving the man she loved.
If it wasn’t for the contract, he’d have given up there. These guys didn’t know how to have fun.
“Zaveid, you’re really a gentleman, aren’t you?” Lailah said when he finally put off his hands.
It wasn’t that she didn’t like Zaveid - she liked him a lot to be honest - but she disliked the way men always tried to touch her or do something else with her. When would they understand that she wasn’t interested in these kinds of thing? Maybe she should tell them?
Lailah finally stood up and offered her hand to help Zaveid to do the same.
“I’m sorry, Zaveid, but I’m not interesting in these things, you know?” She explained. “I like you a lot, as much as I liked…” She stopped before the memories came back in her mind. “But I’m really not interesting by that.”

Dezel smiled, “ You bet I will ” He said honestly , protect her was number one priority,wothout her no one will be able to purify the corruped ones. Lailah seemed to act innocent to not worry other, but he could heard how her heart almost stopped for a second when she heard the bad news. “ Let’s go, I will be your shiled during this fight , please watch my back too Lailah” And he started to walk.
Good thing everything was quiet, apparently most of them still knocked up , but he knew some where aproaching “ Good grief. Lailha behind me , I will stun them or make them dizzy for you to act”
