im kinda in the mood to remake and start fresh but at the same time i dont think any of my current mutuals would care enough to follow me on my new blog….. time to spend several days thinking about this to try and make a decision

Just got done talking to another trans guy who was basically like “I don’t like being nice to people because it makes me dysphoric and feminine. Being rude makes me feel masculine” and honestly? I felt so fucking bad for him bc if it makes you feel good to purposely put others down in the name of masculinity then there is genuinely something wrong with you.

I actually can’t even stop to count how many trans men take up rudeness, and more importantly, sacrifice their kindness for the namesake of passing. I have dysphoria too, don’t get me wrong, it fucking sucks. But if being tender is seen as inherently feminine, then that’s a problem on the person not anybody else.

Please, don’t ever give up who you are because cis men act a certain way. You don’t have to take these behaviours up to be respected by your community. You don’t have to give up your love and compassion just because society sees it a certain way.

AND! More often than not trans men will take up behaviours such as misogyny, transmisogyny, racism, and sometimes (unfortunately) fall into chauvinist right-winger attitudes in hopes to copy cisgender men.

You don’t have to change yourself for the worse. Be kind, god damnit! Trans men have the ability to show compassion beyond the typical cis man, and that’s unique. Don’t let that go!

Shout out to the fellow autistics out there that :

Blast music in the car until the speakers are about to blow but as soon as a light is buzzing 3 rooms down the hall everything is too loud

Get so excited about their special interest they cant even infodump

Have worn the same jacket for the past 3 years despite holes in the sleeves

Find ways to insert their special interest into school projects and papers if they can

Have days where they want tight tight hugs and other days where if they are touched they will instantly vanish into meltdown

Have fluctuating levels of empathy

Want to have a career that isnt “meant for autistic people” and having to be your own support

Know what they want to say but cant get the right words or people don’t understand.

Have to say “what” more often than “hi”

Get fascinated by the smallest details around them that other people pass

Are still trying to accept their own autism and not repress behaviors they’ve learned to repress

Adults who got diagnosed late and are relearning their whole lives in a different light

Who exist everyday as themselves in a world of typicals and ableist
