SIX WORDS (6/30/16)
women grow hair on their boobs and their butts and their legs and their arms and their stomachs and their face and really anywhere their genetics decides to have hair and it is perfectly normal what isnt normal is men who have never touched a razor trying to shame women for not looking like a hairless baby
And even if they do shave, it’s not their business. Fin.

There are not adequate descriptors with which I can express my feelings on the horrific events that transpired in Orlando this weekend.
Horror fails to capture my sentiment of the massacre that has robbed so many of so much.
Sadness falls so short of the breadth and depth of emotions I feel for my lgbt community after this horrific assault.
Loathing is so inadequate for the abject disgust that is boiling inside me while I watch politicians feign sympathy while simultaneously fighting for legislation that criminalizes our existence and legislation that allows for such easy access to these weapons that are used to brutalize our bodies, families, and community.
One more time for the people in the back
you can fly that shit rag of slavery and treason and not get arrested but protest for black lives & you get brutalized AND arrested.

Remnants of the British Black Panther’s Lost Legacy
Britain’s black power movement is at risk of being forgotten, say historians
The Cambridge academic Robin Bunce said: “There is a fundamental danger of erasing the very notion of a struggle at all. I’ve been researching this for four and a half years and there have been so many occasions when people have said to me: ‘There was no black struggle in Britain. You’re thinking of South Africa or America.’“
The narrative that feeds it is the one that Britain is the utopia of fair play. We have such a commitment to individual rights, we have such a commitment to common sense and decency that there is no systematic racism in Britain.”…
Bunce said it was not just politicians, but wider British society that would rather not dwell on the less palatable.
this is why I roll my eyes whenever white british people chime into race discussions that involve america and act like they’re shocked and repulsed at the racism in our country and even have the nerve to say “racism doesn’t really exist in the uk” like ??? did y'all forget where our problems came from or
Britain quite literally was the biggest wholesale exporter of white supremacy through colonization.
Never understood how they can so easily forget their own despicable, bloodstained history.
*holds a baby carrot like a cigarette* I’m just….. over it, you know?
