Ever since theyâd arrived Jihuâs mood had shifted. Within only the first few hours he could tell his time here would be different, or at least, more along the lines of his âbeforeâ life than back in Korea. Heâd been quietly surprised by how much Tiaâs home resembled the house he grew up in, though Tiaâs didnât have the bitter teenage memories lurking around every corner.    âYou make me feel like an accessory. One of those little dogs Paris Hilton shoves in a bag. Hey! Thatâs an idea, saves me walking.â He said when he could finally get a word in. They were both like that with each other but it didnât bother him.    âWhere are we going and what are we doing?â Jihu, for the first time in recent memory, felt excited at what lay ahead of him. Aside from a week long trip to New York when he was eight, heâd never really been to this side of the world. âTake me somewhere American.â
If one could be a human energizer bunny in the moment, it would be Tia. Not only was she back in home territory, she had stolen a kpop idol to take with her.  You could almost hear the evil laughter going on inside her head. Grabbing a blueberry muffin off the counter, she took a big bite. It took her a full hour to compile places to go. But, she knew as soon as they got back to Korea it would go back to being suffocating, not to mention completely hard for her to be around one of the few people she felt like she could be herself around anymore. She was going to make this trip worth it.    âYou say it like being my accessory is a bad thing,â Tia smirked, âAre you saying you want to be my dog? This can be arranged if it isnât already.â She teased. It felt so nice not having to look over her shoulder to make sure nobody saw her talking freely with Jihu.     Her eyes lit up at his question, âGoing everywhere and  doing everything.â Bringing her phone up to his face, she waved it back and forth. âI made a list, cause Iâm an organized adult.â Letting out her loud laugh and standing on her tippy toes to ruffle his hair, she grinned. âYou got it, lame-o. Now câmon, our driver is waiting!â
