I made a ship child after rewatching and catching up on Mr Plant and Argos.

I don't have an official name but I was thinking either Ms Plant, Ms Azalea, or maybe a type of plant god since Argos is named after a mythos being.

I'll post an update if I decide to properly color this image

Lore / Fun facts

- 2/3rd of her petal colors are from Argos' clothing except for the green which is derived from her Banana Leif Grandmother.

- She's only heard stories and seen pictures of her grandmother and wants to give her a friendship flower if they ever get to meet her!

- She hasn't verbally spoken yet and it's unclear if she ever will, BUT she knows sign language and has great penmanship for her age.

- The only angst they have in their story (so far) is she's actually quite lonely with one father being super antisocial while the other has many jobs to juggle. Because of this and her innate curiosity, she's actually snuck into Argos' garden many times which has caused multiple 'accidents' due to her lacking knowledge about all the dangerous plants there. It's unclear how much these accidents have actually affected her.

- Their favorite plants (besides Mr Plant) are the Whispering Flower, the Glow Flower, and that one advice flower that wasn't given a proper name.

- Her favorite activity is drawing / coloring and prefers to use crayons cause they love the texture of the drawings once they're done. Plus crayons taste pretty interesting.

- She has yet to see the stars in person.

Y'know how it's so common for people to respond to mild mistakes by saying "man, I fucking suck.." "I'm the worst" ect? Well I recommend trying the opposite as well. Did something that was mildly impressive? "Damn, I'm fucking awesome." Figured out the solution to a puzzle? "I'm the best! Look at me go!"

I originally started doing this ironically to mildly annoy my friends and cause I thought it was funny to act egotistical over the smallest of accomplishments and uh.. it's actually legit improved my self image.

And if not for that reason then at least do it as a way to mess with the people who are used to you being overly cynical and mean to yourself. Seriously, watching their brains internally summersault in confusion from you doing something not only out of character, but also good? It's so funny.

Was messing around on Picrew and found this one made by @antsinabag

Here's my Xiuling Sona! I love that you can make them both adorable, nightmare fuel or a combination of both. They kinda remind me of my own space inhabited species called Korckiks since both have horns, interesting abilities, and fur. (Will drop lore on them if people are interested)

My only complaint/criticisms is that you can't change the color of the outline as the blue one when mixed with black and purple kinda hurts my eyes. I'm also sad there isn't a brown option in the colors but that's just because it's my favorite color and I'm biased. Those are criticisms aimed towards the Picrew itself and not the species as a whole.

As for the species, I'm very curious about their lore. How do they live? What's their environment like? Do they have their own planet? Do they just live in the vacuum of space? Do they have their own society? Or are they just blank slates for people to build off of? If it's the latter then I'd love to gently place them on the same planet as my Korckiks for world building purposes. If I'm allowed to of course!

I've always been domesticated, never once have I been feral. I would love pretending I was, but even when camping I spend most of my time in a camper instead of outside or in a tent. However something about my behavior when surrounded by furries, sponges, anime, and vehicles while racing over 500mpr into Cthulhu's favorite ship makes people think otherwise.

This just puts an image in my head of Totk Link crashing his homemade flying boat into a mountain with Zelda, they walk into an ancient ruins where Zelda fangirls about her findings. And then they find Ganon and scare the crap out of him by shining a light in his face and interrogating him.

All while Sidon is at home wishing he can do more to help as he sees doomsday slowly approaching.

I've noticed that there's two main ways to love a character

Loving them so much that you want to do everything in your power to protect them from harm rather it's cause you want them to keep their innocence or cause you think they've been through enough.

Or for whatever reason, loving them so much that you want to do everything in your power to give them pain.

Both are very real and valid ways of loving a character :3

Prime example, just earlier I was talking to friends about character stuff and when referring to one of my characters they said "listen, if they didn't wanna be bullied, then they shouldn't be so bullyable! Now put'em in the box!" While another friend retaliated with "Noooooo! Leave them aloooooone! Poor babies been through enough!" And now they're fighting over custody of them

I relate to both these comments about them.

I'm tempted to change my favorite color from black to brown. I've always said black cause it's basically all colors combined so technically all colors are my favorite color. But brown is so underrated and nice to look at. It's such a nice neutral color. You know the warm fuzzy feeling you get when you look at Orange? Just turn the brightness and saturation down and you get such a familiar and smooth and calming color..

How do use Tumblr? It's been years, I swear I'm not new, just confused.
