Modern Budai // Water Color + Ink Pen Rough Concept for a series I'm planning on doing. Religious figures, mainly from the Asias, modernized. Supreme box logo, wayfarers and a slice of pizza for the laughing buddha, Budai. Solid color on Budai with a busy surrounding signify the figures ability to be content with whatever the situation may be; an admirable trait indeed.

Totem The Man In Flames // Water Color The Totem the man logo / signature against a chaotic, hot backdrop that draws from the essences of carelessness, short attention, imperfection, misguided-ness, and ability to view things from several perspectives within myself. If you look in the fiery background, you will find various shapes and creatures crafted by the hastily splayed strokes.

faces in a crowd // water color It's easy to over look people as you go through life, there are a lot of distractions, a lot of emotions and thoughts going on in your head, a lot of movement and stillness in the environment around you, it's all to easy to mistake one thing for another thing, or to ignore certain aspects of life without even realizing it. These pieces are conveying everything that is going on around and in the head of every person you see during your daily life, some may have it easier than you, some may have it harder, but everybody is going through life, just as you are, everyone is on their own journey and they have their own set of distractions, thoughts, feelings, so try to respect everyone you come into contact with.

This is really just me trying to please the 4 year old inside me.

peace signs // Water Color A small series I did 2 years ago exploring contrasting emotions, and how Inner peace can vary from person to person, and how different situations can be interpreted differently by individuals, how one can stay peaceful while a battle is happening inside them, how one can stay peaceful while the world is ablaze around them, and the last is more of a tribute to the power the calm beautiful ocean can have, the contrast between the colors I chose are to exemplify the duality of all situations and subjects. Even 1 dimensional objects have two sides.
