We need to talk about my bath and hallway.... Someone, I can't imagine what kind of person would do this, painted this right space a bright gaudy orange. The room has no natural or ambient light, so it's dark and cramped. But, as if that wasn't bad enough, they also painted the ceiling that awful mustardy color!! Who tf and why tf 😩 And there's awful faux brick paneling on two of the walls, ceiling to floor. I admit, when I viewed the apartment, I thought it was wallpaper. I thought I could just tear it down or paper over it.... Nope. It's textured... So I found some very nice white paneling to go over it.
Now. The bathroom. The same terrorist who painted the hall must have painted the bathroom. Puke green. Puke green in a bathroom. Puke green in a bathroom which already has wall tile in a completely different tone of green. OH and did I mention that puke green is also on the ceiling? Because of course it is! Why? Who knows? Who knows why people like that do what they do. Green is my favorite color. I intend to paint most of this apartment green. But puke green in a bathroom? That's some disturbing shit. Ok I'm done, sorry.
Anyway, I'm thinking red on the hall (crazy for me because I hate red), but it will help bridge the two different greens I want in my kitchen and bed/living room. In the bathroom, a classic white.
