“Umm…but how about we become friends first, then see where things go from there…if that’s okay with you”

Florizabeth still struggled with this difference between a strongly platonic relationship and real love. Maybe this wasn’t “love” but an intense feeling of close companionship. Either way, she wanted to get to know her better.

Granted, flirting was fun but Shelly did need friends outside of team aqua and possibly Tabitha.
