it’s kind of funny how much marvel wrote themselves into a corner with steve and bucky

you spend three movies establishing that the only thing that gets The Righteous Man to break his strict moral code and throw all reason and logic to the wind is his love for his BF(F) which obviously results in having millions of people talking about the possibility of them actually being in love (see: #givecapaboyfriend/just Google search stucky) and the only choice you have left is to acknowledge the deep emotional bond you (apparently accidentally) wrote between them or toss one of them into the Void.
