holy HELL this month has me run ragged. I've been so busy I legitimately forgot to post any of the art I've been making, and I've BEEN making art. This is the piece I did for our duo/love interest cover assignment, featuring Nakamura and Hirose from "Go For It, Nakamura!" I LOOOOVE this manga, it's so cute and sweet!! Left is my final revised version, right is the original version I presented during critique.

So as it turns out your sense of self doesnt exist in a vacuum. You gotta actually use it and bounce it off of other people like echolocation to see where you are as a person and shit. So if you dont regularly interact with other people the echoes just get weaker and weaker and before you know it your personality is a blurry fucked up fog clone of its former self. which it sucks because this makes it really hard to interact with people again but yknow

I very dislike how people will see a lack of transmasc focused literature, especially written and published recently, and especially addressing transmasc's relationship to misogyny and patriarchy, and assume it's because it's unneeded, and that transmasculinity and transmasculine experiences are uncomplicated and don't need examination and explanation.
Instead of the reality, where it doesn't exist because of many many factors, like the lack of language and a pre existing framework that can account for misogyny against trans men+mascs as purposeful instead of incidental and a necessary part of patriarchal structures, the lack of available language to communicate these ideas, the lack of voices from trans men+mascs of the global south due to... So many reasons, and the dismissal of transmasc voices, because our experience is "uncomplicated" . Which brings us back to the beginning
