The first time someone tried to steal my bag in the subway I panicked and I broke his arm with an umbrella and since then none of my friends will let me forget about this. If you think this was a badass moment you need to remember I’m 5 ft and my bag was a Lucky Star bag and I was crying while hitting someone much bigger than me repeatedly with a frog-shaped umbrella.

ATTENTION THOSE WHO SUFFER DEPRESSION/ANXIETY

I have an amazing little mind trick that might solve most of where your mind wanders off to. It might sound cheesey and cliche, but let me just say, after my boyfriend told me this I have been at peace for two whole days now. That's a record for me, haha.

SO, he's been reading this book... I can't recall the title [I'll get it later for anyone who's interested in reading it, since I'm totally gonna read it soon], but basically if you feel your mind wandering or stressing or overthinking about either things in the past or future STOP YOURSELF AS SOON AS YOU CAN. Right when you notice it happening, STOP. Stop stop STOP. Live in the moment. Remember that you're living right now, and that no matter what's happened in the past, you're who you are right at this moment. Your entire life has lead you up to this point. Your future is so unpredictable, that there's no reason to constantly stress about it, too. There's nothing you can do to stop the future from happening.

Just bring your mind to the present. Enjoy what's around you. Do little things to keep your mind occupied. Go on a walk and enjoy nature. Seriously... this simple little tip has done wonders for myself so far. I just wanted to share it with all of you that might be struggling as well. uGH I FEEL AS LIGHT AS A CLOUD AND MELLOW AND PLEASED AND FKLJFGRG
