HEY EVERYONE!

There are some important things happening to this side-blog for the future, things I’ve been contemplating for a while now and I think I’m finally okay to make them happen.

This blog is officially moving!

What does this mean? 

1.) This blog WILL NOT BE DELETED. I am going to archive this side blog and keep it public too for my sake as well as my RP partners and anybody else who wants to browse it for content.

2.) My new Skye blog is a whole new account, which means I can properly submit as well as receive prompts and other RP goodness.

3.) No I am not retconning/changing anything related to Skye thus far. Nothing about Skye herself, her RP and her old or current threads are changing except opening her up to new possibilities for RP.

I also plan to refollowing back practically everyone who follows me on here. If you want to follow me back at the new blog I’ll <3 you forever, but this blog isn’t gonna be updated anymore aside from reblogging this notice a few times in case people miss it.

Okay that’s it for now! Thanks for the 2 years of fun here on this blog. It’s been a blast <333

3. Having a snowball fight

They were on a snowy cold planet, and of all things she decided to start a snowball fight since they weren’t doing anything important

“Skye! think fast!” Karliya gave it her best shot and launched a decent sized snowball towards Skye, hitting her in the back before hopefully making her self scarce while giggling herself crazy.

This was terrible. By Earth reckoning, at least in the northern hemisphere, it was summertime…but somebody had gotten the bright idea of going to some forsaken snow planet. Skye had bundled herself as much as she could when the group went planet side but all she could think about was how much she’d prefer getting her tan on than this awfulness.

At least it’s not snowing badly…mmph.

She huddled her arms to herself as she watched in the distance where Daiba had gone with some of the others; Kei was conferring with her location device right beside the land rover they left the ship with. If Skye recalled correctly part of this venture was to see if their findings for any possible raw materials could he gleaned from such a place, despite the weather conditions, but frankly she didn’t care too much and hadn’t been called on to help pitch in just yet. 

So, when that snowball Karliya had planted squarely into Skye’s back it thoroughly startled her. She had been so distracted in her thoughts she hadn’t even considered the possibility of a snowball fight, let alone one instigated by Karliya of all people!

“Oh I see how it is,” Skye said as she unfurled her arms that were nestled against her body as she tried to keep warm. “Catch me when I’m distracted huh?”

Skye caught the trail of prints in the snow and followed them in pursuit, grabbing a handful of snow to prepare for the onslaught she would give Karliya. She may have disliked the cold immensely but this was an act of war!

“You gonna hide yourself like a kid or are we gonna do this proper!”

“Eek!”

Karliya pulled her hood tighter around her head to keep form getting snow down her collar as the snowball hit her shoulder

“Oh come on! you were looking so cold and frozen! Moving around will help you!” She gathered a hand full of snow herself and prepared to return fire on Skye, “Besides, we’ve been stuck out here for who knows how long! i’m just trying to liven it a little!”

Liven it a little, huh? Skye managed to dodge the next oncoming snowball Karliya threw her way and Skye tossed another in retaliation but missed.

“If you wanna warm us up why not conjure us some hot drinks or something?!” Skye said with a petulant twist of her mouth.

“Or is your sparkle hocus pocus ‘magic’ or whatever not good enough for that--ugh!”

Suddenly she found herself with one foot sunken deep in the snow; a hidden hole buried beneath! And thus she tripped, sending her last snowball out of her hands and plopping into the ground as she fell face-first into the ground.
