“I would be lying by saying situations like this were new to me.” He responds. Matt could chalk up being the skeptic when it came to things that seemed ludicrous on the surface. But, with the ever growing threats he faced in Hell’s Kitchen, he was convinced that it was only gonna increase from there on. The Hand, Midland Circle, seemed as if it were only yesterday. Now, here he finds himself teaming up with three strangers once more. For their fate of their lives. “I agree. I’d suggest we keep are guard up and expect something waiting for us.” He nods. Should anything come up, and it probably will. Matt was able to fend himself and do what he could to see his team safe. It was as good as time as any to shake off the rust. There was a lot of questions that were lingering in the air. But there weren’t gonna find them by remaining idle. Their first step would be setting these so called beacons he has been listening in on.
The looming erasure hanging over their heads wasn’t something she was unfamiliar with. Threats of oblivion, of destroying the world, destroying the Tower that kept her alive, gave this similar feeling of dread at hearing the words of the robotic girl. A feeling of uneasiness and a sense of urgency had settled on her once again. The similarity of the situations didn’t help her nervousness, though.
“So we’re going to set the beacons then, correct?” No matter how they had gotten together, how prepared they were, or how good their teamwork was, most of her team was made up of strangers to her. Communication was key to get this team, team Shadow, off the ground. And perhaps make a few friends along the way.
“Where are we going first?”

Hypothetical question. What would happen if someone, say, shot a person with the beacon? Would the disk of light appear on them or would it go through them and appear behind?
Hello!
The person shot might feel a little tingly, but the disc would disintegrate as it tried to form. The shooter might have some ‘splanin’ to do, though…

Regarding the starters I owe for those who liked my plotting call, lemme know if you want me to make them event based! It could be interesting.
She wasn’t sure how any of this would work, but it seemed dire... As in, like Mir dire. Mir in her prime, anyways.

“Okay, so.” There was a mysterious gleam in her eyes as she held up the item she had just finished to the stranger that had happened to stop by. How she had gotten them to invest their time into her little project, she didn’t know, but she had captured them whilst they were traipsing around near her apartment complex. Which they were now inside. “Give me your honest opinion. Does this look like it could explode?” It was a small, rabbit like contraption made of metal.

This person seemed like he had it together in at least some sort of sense, compared to the rest of the city. The city of robotic residents and weirdos.
“Sir?” She called out to the boy, politely waving at him to get his attention. “Do you have any spare Stars on you?” No, she’s not trying to beg money off of him. Hopefully.

Honestly the fun bun looked a little like a cheap pastry you could get in a vending machine. Merukimon observes it from side to side, the tiny thing really small in his large hands.
His name called, and eyes go down.
…
“This.” His other hand reaches into the abandoned bakery, its roof torn open and then his hand comes back up. Full of fun buns.
“Here.“
“You know what it is. Don’t you.”
“I do.” For her small stature, it was honestly amazing that she could hold a conversation with this guy at all. And how long had the bakery been closed? Were the Funbuns even safe to eat at this point? Wait, who cares?
“Its called a Funbun. They’re delicious. Now gimme.” The way she snatched the ‘buns from his hand was very unladylike. She hurriedly opened the wrapper and took a bite of the so-called delicacy--- only to be very disappointed. This wasn’t as good as she remembered. “I.. I don’t know what I expected.” She wanted to call the bakery’s manager for making such a mockery of Lyner’s beloved treat. Maybe it was a good thing it was abandoned. “Its not very good.”

Despite the instruments Marie has learned throughout her life, she can’t recognize a single word that comes out of this girl’s mouth – except one.
“Songs? Music? Oh, I love music! Do you play?”
Oh good, something to distract her from her ongoing existential crisis.
“Hmm? I don’t play any instruments, per say...” Would Life Fill’s harp count? “I sing?”

Arms crossed, the Alter Ego listened quietly beneath a tree as the voice of another sang softly from the other side. It was apparent that the singer hadn’t the foggiest that Okita had been standing there, but not wanting to interrupt the Servant waited for her to finish.
“I’ve never heard a voice that beautiful before.” She’d eventually speak up while peering shyly around the tree trunk.
Her song was a simple test, to see what abilities she had been able to keep. The singing kept her sane. So many things had changed when she was swept here, but it was the one thing that hadn’t. She didn’t, however, think anyone had taken interest in her song.
“B-beauti-!” Her voice squeaked, the rest of her exclamation lost in the stammering. The reyvateil turned to face the girl who had spoken to her, her face blushing a bright red. “Y-you heard that?”
