Per Wikipedia, Nintendo has 5,501 employees. Per this survey, 75% of game devs are male. Nintendo presumably has employees in other roles, however, so we will be somewhat conservative and go with the 70% male average from this infographic of American tech companies.
This survey suggests that 74% of US adults have at least one child. Finding out how many people have siblings is surprisingly difficult–there are a couple of articles that give a figure of 80% in passing, but they provide no citation. Still, that sounds about right, and for a Fermi estimate that is good enough. We will again be conservative and say that a person with a sibling only has a 74% chance of having a nibling, even though this chance should increase with every sibling.
So, about 2280 uncles work for Nintendo. Assume each has two niblings for a total of 4560 people whose uncles work at Nintendo. Ignoring differences in straight/gay/bi ratios among the sexes, half of them would like to have a girlfriend, for about 2280 people. Relationship statistics outside of marriage (~50% in the US) are hard to find, so let’s guess that half of the unmarried remainder are seeing someone, yielding 570 people who have both a girlfriend and an uncle who works at Nintendo. If we assume these people date equally from among all nationalities, then Canada, at about 0.5% of the world’s population, would account for 2.85 girlfriends. Assuming monogamy:
