Born on August 9th, 1991, Lili Ranford was the youngest of two, having an older brother nearly six years her senior, and two workaholic parents-a father that worked as a chef at the MGM Grand until she was seven before he found himself working even longer, harder hours at the Bellagio, her mother, dean of UNLV, was busy year round courtesy of her job and her brother who just didn't care that he had a sister. Having almost no one to care for her, Lili found that she was better off taking care of herself and since her family wasn't the warmest one around, she became an independent young girl early on. Her schooling wasn't anything special: William R Lummis Elementary School, Ernest Becker Sr. Middle School, and Cimmaron-Memorial High School. Like a lot of kids, she was the target of bullying though she never understood why since she never did anything to anyone. In fact, most of the time, she was busy drawing, listening to music, and reading. As she got older, she started sticking up for herself and by the time high school rolled around, she was left alone, which was just the way she preferred life.
As if navigating the world of teen angst wasn't enough, Lili has had to deal with a broken heart (twice) and confusion over well...everything. It was while playing a game of spin the bottle that changed everything. Lili had never given much thought to dating or anything along those lines. But it was there, at her first boy girl party just past the age of thirteen, that she finally understood. His name had been Brad and they lasted for two years, far longer than either of them had thought possible. Unfortunately, an unplanned pregnancy made Brad turn his back on Lili and she was left to handle the pregnancy alone. Seven months later, she had the baby and it was immediately placed for adoption. And her parents? They didn't even bother yelling, just said "how disappointed" they were and that they hoped she would place the baby for adoption. Needless to say, she kept to herself until her senior year when she was quickly smitten with an amazing girl named Dana. It took Lili by surprise that someone, especially someone like Dana, would be interested in her. Mostly though, she hoped word would never reach her parents. They would surely kick her out for being with another girl. For nearly an entire year, she thought everything in her life was going to be perfect for once. And then, out of the blue, Dana ended them and Lili swore off any and all “connections” to people and “love” to her is nothing more than a myth.
As soon as she could work, Lili did. It was through her first part-time job at the Galleria mall that she encountered Jasmine Furth. She had seen her more than once wandering the stacks of cd's in the Sam Goody store. Unlike most people Lili had no problem voicing her opinions and thoughts and could talk one's ear off about the thing she cared most about: music. It was what brought the two together, they left the store talking about music and singing and somehow, someone suggested they start a band. While having two members was great, it wasn't enough, so, via the internet, they soon found Elissa Paresky and Andrea Kagan. When she wasn’t at school or work, and, eventually just work, Lili found herself writing music into the wee hours and then rushing to get to practice. It was the only time that Lili felt happy, the only time that she felt that she actually belonged somewhere. After a few local gigs around town, the band finally caught a break by asked to play in Bite of Las Vegas, which, aside from their band and a few small ones, had huge headliners Puddle of Mud and Lifehouse. It was just the start for them. Before they knew it, they were signed and on tours and while small, the girls were too happy to care. Finally, Lili was getting to live her dream.
Personality: Lili tends to be quiet and keeps to herself-unless it involves music then watch out because she can talk your ear off about artists through the years and music for general for hours on end. Although she is quite by nature, she has a sarcastic side to her and more than once has it gotten her into hot water. Still, she very dedicated to her music and is often the first one at soundcheck and the last to leave. That, combined with her never ending ambition to be bigger than the band already is and has an ear for mixing that is sometimes on par, and, above what the professionals can do, make her an asset to the group.
Sexuality: : Although she'll never admit it, she's pansexual and believes in falling for the right person irregardless of gender, although, of course, she's still very against the entire concept of "love" and doesn’t believe, doubts she ever will

Jasmine Furth: Ever since the two walked out of the Sam Goody store talking up a storm about music, they have only gotten closer with time. She can defuse any situation with Lili and the two seem to understand each other both musically and in other ways. Although Lili is about as closed off with her as she is with anyone, she still confides in her more often than anyone else in her life and Jasmine never pushes her for more interactions which she appreciates
Elissa Parensky: While the two may not have the same connection as she has with Jasmine, Lili knows talent when she sees and hears it and knows that it’s there with Elissa. She has a professional relationship with her overall and the two have found that when it comes to collaborating on music and dancing, they can do no wrong. But, as with most people, Lili finds that the two don’t have much in common nor do they really talk outside of working, which, as far as she can tell, doesn’t seem to bother either of them
Andrea Kagan: They say opposites attract...but sometimes they just want to butt heads and fight non-stop and if it wasn’t for Jasmine and Elissa stepping in and making them work and work it out they just might do so. Lili has no idea what it is about Andrea that drives her insane but something has always caused a riff between the two. Still, the two are, more or less, at a stable place with their relationships with one another and they are better at putting aside their problems and doing what they love: making music.
Para: The blue tint from the clock reads 2:27 a.m. Despite the hour, Lili is hard at work at her laptop, her headphones plugged in, the music low enough so that she doesn’t bother anyone else. She is in her own world now, there is no one and nothing. Just her and the music that she is making, her fingers moving almost without her thinking about it. Music has always been there for her, even when the rest of the world had failed or let her down, music was always there, a comfort and way of pacifying her even at her tensest moments. The beats, rhythm, lyrics, and singing provide a perfect escape into a world where she will never be hurt, betrayed or left alone. It’s the safest place she knows and without it she would be a nobody. For the faintest second, her fingers stop moving and she bites her lip, thinking, focusing, concentrating on the beat that is almost there. And then it’s there again. Like trying to start a car and having it catch several times before the engine turns over. Once more her fingers are flying, adjusting and making the right changes until it is just right.
3:45. Finally satisfied with her work (well for now) Lili saves her work, puts her computer to sleep, unplugs her headphones and connects them to her Ipod before climbing under the covers, her back against the headboard as she flips to a random playlist, her blue eyes closing as she once more loses herself into the world of music. She knows how lucky she is, how so many bands struggle just to get notice and while Cute City may not be on the Billboard’s Top 100 yet she knows they can and will get there. She may have some doubts in other parts of her life, but not when it comes to the band and the music they make. Sure, they may not always agree all the time but they work it out because the end result is worth it. Try as she might to stay awake, she can feel her eyelids getting heavier and heavier, knowing that soon she will succumb to sleep. She checks the battery life of her Ipod. Just under a full charge. Good she thinks as she lets her eyes close again. Maybe the music will be enough to keep the nightmares at bay. Maybe this sleep will be a dreamless one. Or, if she must dream, maybe it will be of nice dreams, though it’s been so long since she had a nice dream she briefly wonders what one is before she surrenders to sleep, the quiet tune of The Beatles “Let It Be” playing softly, serenading her in own private show.

Leslie doesn't remember much of her parents. She was 6 months old when they died in a flight accident, so she doesn't even remember her mother's eyes' color. Her grandparents let her brother, Nick, and her live with them the same day they found out about the accident. They weren't the richest people in the world, but Leslie didn't mind wearing Nick's old clothes as long as he would let her play with his favorite car-toy.
She didn't have many friends at primary school. Most kids made fun of her clothes and short hair. They usually said that she should have been born as a boy, but it didn't bother her; she'd just roll her eyes and laugh with them.
Leslie started to lose her friends at the age of 10. Nick showed her new TV show, "Supernatural", and she absolutely loved it. She stopped hanging out with girls from her friends because she had to watch a new episode. A few years later Nick showed her Tumblr. And that's how she started her internet addiction.
When she was 17, her grandparents died, but Nick was old enough to live with her as her legal guardian. She was broken; 'Nanny was one of her closest friends and she knew she could trust her with all her heart. She was crying for weeks, until Nick decided to take her to a party, show her that she had to move on. What he didn't expect was seeing his girlfriend and Leslie making out at this party. He stopped talking to her after this accident, but she didn't regret it; at least she discovered that she liked girls as much as boys.
Now it bothers her. She had to rent a flat, because she couldn't look at Nick's hurt face every single day. He still hasn't spoken to her and she had enough. Fortunately, she had a nice roommate and she didn't have to pay rent by herself. She still sent one letter to Nick per week, but thanks to Sydney she was able to forget about him sometimes and function like a normal teenage. Also, Sydney was the one that showed her who 'Cute City' was and Leslie wasn't sure if it was the best or the worst day of her life.
Leslie's usually quiet around strangers, but once she knows you better, she won't shut up. She doesn't like when people like something she likes, because she wants it all to herself, so yeah, maybe she's a little selfish. If you're having a bad day, though, she will try to make you smile, even if she doesn't like you.

Leslie raised her eyebrows when she remembered what Sydney, her roommate and also best friend, said yesterday. She knew she needed a job as soon as possible, but she didn't think of babysitting. And now yesterday she was told she was supposed to be at a completely stranger's house to babysit a cat. Who even needs a someone to watch over their cat? She took a deep breath and quietly counted to ten to calm herself down, before she knocked on the door.
In the next moment three cats were rubbing against her legs and she felt a bit uncomfortable, not being able to move. An older woman was smiling at her, holding another cat. The woman quickly gave her the cat - Bonnie - and almost ran to her car, waving happily to overwhelmed Leslie. And with that, Leslie was left with four cats and she completely didn't know what to do with them. She was afraid it could be too cold for them outside, so she took them inside and while they were purring at her legs, she looked around, curiously. She sighed and smiled warmly at pets.
"So, who is ready for a little 'Supernatural' marathon?"
