"Huh? What’s this? Some kinda surprise visit?”
"Y’know what— I can’t seem to remember who you are. Ain’t sorry about that. Uhihihi~"
Putting aside the unsettling laugh and psychotic look embedded in the stranger's eyes, the conductor blinked rather curiously at the tattoo so proudly displayed, ignoring the inconvenience of being thrown into a part of the parallel world he wasn't acquainted with.
"Woah, is that a guild emblem? Like, just how many guilds are in this world?"
— {☁} A member of the royal Army, no wonder he looked familiar to her. However, he was no longer obligated to attack her or her guild and so therefor, he was of little threat even with his tough words.
"Nice to meet you amazingly ignorant Hughes, I’m Wendy Marble a mage of Fairy Tail. From how I hear it, you’re lucky you’re not banished for the horrible things you did to the Earthlander’s so I really don’t think you have any room to talk to me like you’re better.”
Such cheeky.commentary he could do without, previous smile faltering for just a moment before it became cruelly forced.
"Tch--- you're not much of a mage without magic. Pissing me off super bad is not your best idea." Even so, her words rung true; to maintain his rank and his life was beyond gracious of the current king-- not that he'd ever admit it.
"You know, looking at you brings me back to when I threw your Earthland self in jail. That amazingly devastated face when she realized her closest Exceed friend tricked her-- I wouldn't mind seeing that again."
— {☁} “Right, I guess so.”
— {☁} Who was this skunk-streak-in-his-hair male? He looked somewhat familiar though, maybe only from afar?
— {☁} “So, who are you?”
"Woah, you really don't know?" Although his ego deflated for a few moments, it swelled again in no time.
"Amazingly ignorant! Hughes, Third Captain of the Royal Army. You're a Fairy Tail mage aren't you? You're lucky our king's allowed your ugly guild to sit in the Royal City, or we'd have you guys wiped off this planet!"

"Surprise! Like, isn't that what I should be asking you?"
"What? no! It’s a guild, Lamia Scale guild. My name is Sherry Blendy. And you are..?”
"...huh." That's right-- guilds besides Fairy Tail thrived on Earthland.
"Hughes." he answered in kind, careful not to provoke the wrath of more mages lest his experience here be even more regretful. "What kind of guild is Lamia Scale?"

{ ✿ } Emerald hues looked over the crowd before her. Not one face looked familiar, as they were all different. Shiemi played with her hands absentmindedly for a moment while trying to think of a way to greet them. "Ah.. H-Hello. S-Something I can help you with?"
At a complete loss as to whether or not he'd been successfully thrown into Earthland, Hughes remained stunned silent until a petite female humbly appeared. Rather bruised from the peculiar means of transportation, he hesitated to ask of this world in fear he might expose himself.
"Ah, er... yeah I'm lost...?"

The barmaid just laughed at his infantile reply and passed the drinks around, mingling with the other members for a bit until returning for the uninvited, but good-looking guest.
"Well for starters, it’s you that looks like her. Almost as if you were from another world, but you have a different persona than she does." She set her tray down and looked at him. "So are you hungry?"
"--Her?" The pronoun does not escape him as he slouched his head into one hand with slight offense, a pout forming on his lips. His appearance reminded her of a woman? The casual comparison she used soon after caught his attention, however-- from another world.
"You don't say?" Wanting far more information on the topic, he leaned forward with interest, especially since her comment was unknowingly accurate.
Considering it was only suitable that he purchase something in exchange for staying, he answered the last inquiry with a convincing smile. "... Yeah! Amazingly hungry." It wouldn't hurt to eat, in any case. "Say, what was your name?"
There was a loud one again. A long sigh escaped his lips.
Although he hadn’t expected to see anybody from Edolas ever again, he couldn’t help but being annoyed by the sudden outburst of his former comrade. It wasn’t about the joke on his size that left him in annoyance. Neither was it the discovery about Huges still being immature as he had been. PantherLily didn’t like noisy people. And the aforementioned was one of them.
"I recall telling you to shut the loud mouth of yours, back in Edolas. And I stick with what I said." the feline, who looked more like a cat than ever, snarled.
In truth, a scolding or a direct insult to how he carried himself would ordinarily hinder his confidence, more often than not causing him to childishly retort with a degree of stubborn anger. However, the circumstances imposed by Earthland on the Exceed resulted only in the commander to pause in a moment of silence before his lips trembled-- unsuccessfully holding back another burst of laughter as his voice only increased in volume.
"Woah, woah, woah!? Your voice is still deep in that tiny body!" Unable to control the laughter that spilled over his words, he nearly doubled over with hysteria. "I-I can't take it!! Pahaha!! You are like, so, not threatening like that!"
The subject in question leaking nothing of an information. With that, the celestial mage surrendered. Oh she’ll find it later. The purpose of the visit and something more. Swallowing a lump of saliva; muscles relaxed as well as the overloaded brain. "Of course we do. There’s a lot of beautiful shops around the town. Magic shops are present too. They’re unlike of those from your place."Never really had the time to visit the corners of the parallel world but the blonde heard stories of different encounters from the guild mates.
"I’ll come. It’s my responsibility as a mage of this town. If ever… if ever you pull any stunt… Maa, let’s forget that for now. After all, I befriended your counterpart in here."Sou. They didn’t really had a good start as well. But all the matters is the present and what had become. With that, she couldn’t help but produce a smile amidst the thoughts. "I’ll show you the city. I don’t mind being a tour guide for the meantime. Just so you know, a lot knows a wonderful mage like me. It’s only natural to stand out."Swiftly she turned on her shoes — giggling softly by herself. "This way."
Beautiful and full of magic; unlike Edolas in every way. The conductor does not even find it in himself to be spiteful, having long accepted the truth for what it was. Even if he'd obtained a monumental supply of magic tools to bring back, it was only a matter time before their power would be lost again, if not failing to start. For the time being, he merely prides on the fact he will be able to use ample amounts of magic while present in Earthland, provided he can get his hands on it.
"--Befriended my counterpart?"
The minor comment stunned him incredibly, even despite knowing that those from other worlds were separate people. Curiosity got the better of him as neither her incomplete threat or self-compliment registered, following her lead with an astonished expression. "Amazing... so what's he like?" His little information on the subject was, well, obvious, if the pronoun used didn't prove enough.
