She has a thing for the Addams.

Something tells me Pugsley and Agnes are gonna be a thing later on and I wouldn’t mind. This season their stories paralleled each other so much, but barely anyone seems to be talking about it. Plus, Agnes is definitely finding her way into the Addams family one way or another she and Wednesday already formed this unspoken sisterhood, so Wednesday is basically her sister in law at this point.

If it does happen, I can see Pugsley and Agnes growing into the next Morticia and Gomez. Yes, there are strong parallels between Tyler/Wednesday and Morticia/Gomez, but I think Tyler and Wednesday’s dynamic will ultimately take a very different path. Pugsley and Agnes, on the other hand, feel like they’d step into that legacy in their own way. Out of the two siblings, Pugsley seems more likely to follow in his parents’ footsteps, while Wednesday is clearly determined to carve her own path.

Wednesday: I am deviating from my typical appearance to demonstrate to you that I am in fact capable of spontaniety and change.

Enid: 🤨

Enid: Pugsley booby-trapped your crossbow to explode in your face again, didn’t he?

Wednesday: As if I would fall for that a second—

Pugsley: *muffled by dirt* You should’ve seen her face!

Enid/Wednesday: 🫢😑

Wednesday: *grudging approval* I see he’s been working on his tolerance for sedatives.

Enid: *aghast* Oh my god! You told me we were symbolically burying our past regrets!

Wednesday: And I regret not burying them sooner.

Enid: WEDNESDAY! You can’t just—

Agnes: Where the hell am I? What’s going on?? HELP!

Pugsley: Oh hey, Agnes. First time being buried alive?

Enid: 😯

Enid: 😐

Enid: 😒

I just want to take a moment to appreciate how they’re writing Wally in the absolute flash run.

He’s a teen with anxiety (and probably some ocd) and they’re showing that to us, in a really cool way

Having his overwhelming and compulsive thoughts be stacked boxes like this is just genius. It captures the quickness and intensity of intrusive impulses so well!

It’s hard to make written things feel fast. The author cannot control how fast the reader is taking things in. But stacking boxes and using broken sentences really gets the feeling of “racing thoughts” across well.
