#HipHopComeUp: #ULTRAmagneticMCs 1992 album "Funk Your Head Up" as a long time Ultra Magnetic fan, I've heard about this album but have never seen a physical copy or even heard it. From what I heard, it was a commercial failure. I was digging through Rasputin's bins in Fairfield and after 20 years of digging, I FINALLY found this! At $13.95 for this used copy, it's listed on eBay between $70-160! As for the music itself. It's no "Critical Beatdown" or "Four Horsemen" but I can see how it sounded forced due to record label execs trying to change their sound. Still a satisfying album worth the listen! Today's rotation is called #DeluxeEditionFridays - I'm a huge fan of #HipHop classics reaching a anniversary milestone and gets repackaged as a "Deluxe Edition" album featuring updated artwork, is digitally remastered with remix, b-sides and instrumentals. The original versions will always remain supreme but the little extras that may have been shelved or forgotten are greatly appreciated.😎

#Jigmastas "Grassroots" deluxe edition re-release. Finally opened this up, absolutely dope!!!! Originally released in the late 90's, DJ Spinna's production is so crisp I thought this was a 2016 release.every track is 🔥🔥🔥. Damn, they don't make #HipHop like this anymore!
