The thought made her laugh a little condescendingly. There were rules. “We can’t tell HJ about this. I’m not sure if you understand how all of this works, but we absolutely have to keep everything a secret from everyone I care about. While I’m not sure HJ would figure out something was wrong from a quick conversation, she might get confused by a movie night with some random person from another pack.”
Yona considered the fake cough message that Wyatt tried to make. “Well I think that sounds like what would happen if I was horribly sick and feeling guilty about it. I could use that for some occasions, yeah! Sounds enough like me that I can use it, thanks.” She wasn’t convinced that the ‘sorry’ was good for every occasion, but she would take what she could get here. It would have been worse if some horrible person that didn’t make bargains had gotten her body. This was fine.
She crinkled her nose a bit, but tried her best to contain her annoyance. She wasn’t really sure about Yona’s pack dynamics, but she at least knew some people in her pack she could trust with this information, at least. Yona made it sound like a whole conspiracy theory that could spell catastrophe if word got out that their bodies were swapped. She didn’t see any reason to argue with her on the matter, though. “Alright, alright. We won’t tell HJ anything,” she said, waving a hand dismissively. “Do you not normally apologise for not being able to come in?” She asked, the concept being foreign to her. She must’ve remembered public school quite differently. Then again, she spent half of her time home-schooled. She pulled up her laptop and starting setting up her microphone and earphones before plugging in her hair diffuser. She handed Yona her notes. “Could you look over these please and let me know if you have any questions?”
