Starting now until September 25th, I'm holding a Draw This In Your Style contest, the reward for which will be a TF fic for the Top 3!!

I will write anything you like (within reason), at a minimum of 1,000 words!

Here is your art prompt!

-This is my OC Lovebug! He's a factionless seeker, a surrogate before and during the war. I love him very dearly!-

Now here are the rules!

* The art piece has to be of Lovebug! It doesn't have to be this pose, and you can add other mechs and/or change the scenario if you like.

*NO AI WHATSOEVER

* Has to be full-body, with flat colors at minimum. Don't worry about backgrounds if you dont want to. I suck at them too lol.

* No gore!! I'm fine with sexual scenarios, he is a surrogate after all (and I'm a valveplug fan), but I don't want to see him being hurt.

* Tag it with #LovebugDTIYS2025 so I can find it!!!

* Has to be posted before midnight on the 25th!!

Hmm, you know, I'd never thought about it.

Personally, I think its more likely to be ADHD and OCD. He's super high energy and easily gets carried away, hence the ADHD.

The OCD is a little harder to explain and I think most people wouldn't agree with me on it, but Lee's habits are very similar to compulsions. The way he pushes himself even to his own detriment, the entire premise of "If I can't do 100 push-ups, then I'll do a hundred situps, if I cant do a hundred situps...." it reminds me of my own compulsions.

Especially during his hospital stay mid Chunin Exams arc. It the first time we see him snap at someone, and its because they're trying to stop him from training after he just got his shit wrecked.

Training is his compulsion. If he doesnt do it every day like his life depends on it, he gets anxious, scared, like he'll be useless otherwise.

I dunno, as someone with chronic health problems, I relate really hard to Lee's entire deal, so I may be projecting, though I am autistic as well. But yeah, I wouldn't call Lee autistic.

And thanks for the compliment! I like the figurine a lot, if I weren't a broke ass college student I'd have a lot more like it. Lee is my single favorite character across fandom.
