Something went wrong...I think this was toxic...my flesh is falling off and im turning into something...my body feels strange. I should have never trusted that traveler....he lied, he lied! I will find him! Run, run as fast as you can traveler!
Today was my lucky day! After months of searching for flour and sugar I got my hands on some today! A random traveler came in today, a little weird, that really made me trade it all for these unique finds. I double checked with him and made sure it wasn't exposed or anything like that but he said it was all good. I know I shouldn't trust everyone but I mean...why not? He seemed okay and he even gave me an extra day to collect the money for them. I told him to visit our little hotel and just give me until tomorrow morning to give him his money. I think the town will love these cookies and bring back a bit from the past. We all miss the good times and I think this will just help. Lets see what I can create! And no, no mutated cooking for me!
So its been really crazy with the shop and I haven't had a chance to really sit down and relax! BUT, I did have trade today that really hit the spot in my stomach. I got some homemade cookies and they were the bomb! <-- (no pun intended). This just makes me think of all the great sweets that existed back before the war that people always talk about. I might have to find somethings from some traders to see if I can make my own cookies. I can do this not only for me but for everyone in town. I wish I was around for the days where everything was green, everything was alive, and everyone was happy. Just an honest truth but just have to continue with what we have now.
For sale! Latest adventure spoils!
The shop space is really getting nice! not only that...I actually am meeting so many interesting people. Very interesting but what is more important than the people are their trades! I have gotten so many new items to trade and I even took a wild chance and ventured out of the walls. It was wild but so worth it. I found some bags and decided to bring them in. I did see some really old weapons on the street but they were glowing green and what I've learned is that you DO NOT touch anything with that green hue. It is dangerous and toxic! So I left them there BUT I did manage to bring my adventure spoils in and they seem to be catching everyones eyes. This is really turning out to be amazing!

I finally did it! I opened my own trade shop and I am beyond excited! My first customer today and I didnt even know we had a painter living here! His name is Charles and he not only is an artist, but he is also the town doctor. He stopped in and we traded a book of white paper for a painting he had made! It is my inspiration to one day get out of this town and see what other things and people are out there! I hung it up right behind me and everyone can see it! I am excited BUT one little thing he told me that scared me was not to trust anyone who comes in...seemed really crazy when he told me.
Its pretty lonely in this dark and empty world. I need to find something to do to meet people OR get out and take a risk out in the toxic landscape. It just would be so crazy to step out and travel what ever is left since the nukes went off. Is it crazy to want to go outside these walls? Am I wrong for wanting to just get out? Well...its lonely and I am needing to find something to do. Should I open a trade shop? I think it would be so awesome to meet new people and trade some wild things! Trader Joe...has a ring to it! Better than plain old lonely Joe. I think it will work, I hope it will work.
