My year will be filled with lots of sacrifices, and stepping out of my comfort zone into the unknown. I'm excited about this year of 2013 and will not give up or give in to discouragement, but push forward to what is in store for my life and building my company into a brand. Misplaced my mascara so substituted my eyeliner gel using my fingers. My lips used 3 type of lipsticks: Lancome & two différent Estee Lauder. Patterns are all "finished!!!!" I'm so excited; on to the next stage. Still in the making of course. Some may not quite understand the micro of fashion until they understand patterns, draping & sewing work. You learn to see fashion differently from the world scrutinizing every thread & detailed placement like no other. "Its not how fast you make it in your industry, its when you finally make it!!!" No matter what I come across or the negative words certain individuals have said to demoralize my passion for fashion. I believe in my goals, dreams & I'm ambitious and hungry to see me get further with such an amazing support system. My future holds a lot of fabric, beading, lace, crinoline, and feather shopping for this collection. I'm excited to work with Cynthia who I met at Miami International Fashion Week 2012, for my future collection. She is very artistic when it comes to bedazzling shoes, pumps and heels. And I definitely believe her style will be a touch to my 2013 Bridal Collection. As I continue this journey I'm thinking on something that can separate me from the rest in my category. For example, Christian Louboutin has red bottoms so you identity red bottoms to his brand. Pretty sure I got something in the making, but making sure I stay true to me, myself, I and my niche target customer. To end, I've learned stay true to you as an artist and don't let others try to orchestrate your life when you are deeply passionate about something regardless the money. By the way, I believe money comes when your passionate collides with the interest of others. Good night or morning & stay passionate about something.
