Dear Constructicons Fans, Which Constructicons That Might Be Fit as Trainbot Getsuei's Rival/Enemy?
contects: this is just for fun, But i really want to see which Constructicons have to be "ideal" Decepticon rival for Getsuei.
For context:
Getsuei's is a night warrior who is badass in night time and can see the enemy on darkness, but he is sluggish and often sleeping in many places, if he is not sleeping, he is usually had tendency to daydreaming. physcially and mentally he could be around 20-25 making him to be the only trainbots who dosen't have definitive age while others are in one places, like Shouki is 23, Suiken is 45 and ect. (don't ask me why. it was on the tf headmasters japanese wikipedia said.) in mpg and even in tf go go escribe him as "likes to sleeping and sometimes likes to relax and laze around. (so he is biologically wakes up on night time is an excuse to cover his laziness!?/hj). He has a weapon blaster called "Night Laser". He is the Right Leg of the combiner Raiden. His name means "Moonlight", but some information said "Moonshadow". His Preliminary or Code name is Night, and his Diaclone name is Nightliner. According to mpg bio card, he has: strengh 5, intelligence 6, speed 8, Endurance 5, Rank 3, Courage 8, Fireflast 4 and Skill 6.
How about as an individual, is there something to add?
this is mix of the canon and my headcanon of him, but i try my best to make is "canon" as possible unless i maybe want to add something.
on train wars: the origin (i using the unnoficial english translation on tf wiki), Getsuei is the only one who openly disagree on Shouki's quick plan while Yukikaze quickly likes his big brother's idea. Getsuei also the one who thought Shouki should be the leader. it kinda like "sound like you should be the leader." when Shouki questioned to his team is he a leader, Getsuei answer is "you are the leader."
meanwhile on tf go go, he is much more hyperactive funny and silly dude who often sleepy in a daytime and he sleeps everywhere where Suiken naticed he is sleeping and Kaen habe to carry him. Even that behaviour is exist in train wars. of course it was meant to be comedic, but i like how kinda pathetic he is.

however there was two panel that really amuse me.

With with "i love you" hands.
So the summary him being chill and cool guy is a thing i guess.
If i think about it he does sometimes has a verbal tic where he will end his sentence as -Ze. In japan this gives somewhat rude, rebellious, confident and masculine feeling.
He is often identified with deadpan face, even in the night. And his answer is "Simple!" Is making him sarcastic? Well there is no implication he is sarcastic tho.
Dispite all of that, he still follow Shouki dispite his reckless "plan" (it is more like a demand to be honest) like every Trainbots unit and he does deeply care his "brothers".
Okay from this information so far, which Constructicons that will be considered to be anti-thesis / foil / perfect rivals for Getsuei?

Which Construticons who will be the "ideal" rival for Trainbots Yukikaze?
For Contexts:
Yukikaze is best known as "Shouki's Younger Brother", had rivalry and argues a lot with Kaen due to personality and preferense clashing (hot vs cold), he is a winter warrior or winter specialist who dosen't have a problem with cold, his element is ice and snow and possible age if he is a human is 15 years old, making him the youngest of Trainbots unit. His weapon is called Snow laser and his former / code name is Snow based on Diaclone name, Snowliner. He is the Left Leg of the combiner Raiden. but what if i told you there is more on him?
The first is :
First, he is is into Sumo. On tf the headmasters episode 18, Shouki asking Yukikaze to fight him on sumo wrestling as a way to distract the decepticons, then later in same episode Yukikaze defeating Skullcruncher with sumo-like style. this later confirmed in memo on tf go go that added the informatio that he is into sumo and his speciality is "harite". is on tf headmasters ep 18 is harite? I have no idea.... On the other hand on episode 12, Shouki and Yukikaze was fighting Razorclaw, the leader of the G1 Predacons. But i don't know what kind of technique is that. (If you guys knows a lot about Sumo, please tell me more about what kind of technique that Trainbots doing.)
Second is ice/ snow related. It is kinda his big gimmiack and speciality is that he is into cold thing. he likes snow, he dosen't have a problem with the cold, and he as arguement adn rivalry with Kaen because Kaen is into hot stuff and Yuki is into cold stuff. Even his weapon is called Snow Laser. Shockingly, unlike many weapons, there was a function what his laser do outside shooting laser. in tf go go, Yukikaze shotting with his snow laser to stop the landslide and that weapon can release an ice.
third is that altough he is usually on back of the train, he does sometime on the front of the train formation, especailly when Shouki is not with them and Yuki did pretty good job to lead his team.
third is that he is energetic but kind, caring and polite kid. There is no confirmation he is polite and kind. However the dialouge on train wars: the origins giving some sort of good representation of him. He is the one that quickly asking Dr. Fujiyama and Atari to get out from the danger that caused by Nightbird and Shadow. He is openly showing more concern when his team got kidnapped by brainwashed G-Liner who his mind was controlled by Nightbird and Shadow with cerebro-shell and he is supporting Shouki's quick train express train while Getsuei find it risky. I think this is showing how supportive (i cannot sure if he is "blindly" follow his brother or he does have at least a standard) but also loyal young brother. Even in Train Wars 2, Yuki is still loyal to Shouki after the later became a loner.
Then after everything is comeback to "normal" (the place is became more chaotic) Yuki was behind Shouki while try to calm down Yellow (later Yamabuki on Train Wars: The Junction) angrily screaming at Shouki for how insane he is. Yuki kaze was saying "Excuse me, sis." (I KNEW IT YUKIKAZE IS A FACE WHEN SHOUKI IS BEING SI RUDE!!!!)
His concern is also showed again when he is asking about Nightbird and Getsuei (Nightbird is being rebellious evil bot as usual while Getsuei is sleeping on the rail track like a coccoon).
Then in tf go go, there is another depiction of Yukikaze who is far more upbeat. He is energetic, can follow Shouki without any brother and he just saying "yes, big brother!", heavily implied to be jealous of Kaen when Suiken compliment him while Yuki just open his mouth so widely for seeing something impossible on his eyes. somewhat confident, he is quick thinking but also quick to act and his plan is simple compared to Seizan who has far more.... complex solution. (look at the snow laser section and my essay on Seizan soon). Dispite his upbeat nature, there are does some politeness there. Yuki always calling Shouki as "Onii-San". not "Onii-Chan" (cutesy), not "Aniki" (rough), not "Ani" (to senior who is not related), not "Aniue" (formal but traditional). Just a simple "Onii-San" (formal but polite). on chapter 37, every trainbots look at the decepicons castle with confusement, shocked, and angry, but Yukikaze react with fear. he is feeling scared in first seen that building. but he still fight with other trainbots as usual on the next chapter.
Lastly is his tech specs. Read it by yourself.
I think i maybe missing something about him, but this is how i can answer while follow the canon mostly as possible.

Dear Constructicons Fans, Which Constructicons that Fits to be "ideal" rival to Trainbot's Kaen?
For Context:
Based on offical information and some of his appearances i can gather, Kaen is a powerhouse warrior, the brawn of the team, proud of his body, high self-esteem, show-offy, somewhat clumsy (as the implication of certain panel from tf go go and his tech specs of his skills is the lowest of every Trainbots unit), has rivalry with Yukikaze due to diffrent reference (hot vs cold) and personality clashes. Dispite his bragging and being the total jock of the team, he has a big heart and broad-minded. A jerk with a heart of gold (except he is not a total jerk to be considered as "jerk" characters in my opinion).
His preliminary name / Diaclone Name is Powerliner. His code name is Possibly "Power" considering his basic weapon is called Power Laser. On G1 some parts of him can becoming Raiden's head. However in MPG, He dosen't have the head anymore, instead the head is put on Yukikaze's play set instead. At least Kaen does have the tall light saber aka Raiden's yellow light saber on his play set. He turns into Raiden's Pelvis or thigh or whatever you want to said about it. And on mpg version he can have a raiden cannon that maybe could be came from Seizan's Play Set box.
Is there some addition:
In tf the headmasters, he is second most to have many voice lines (second to is Shouki obviously). Many of his voice lines is about being a typical jock to agresively fights the decepticons. However his first voice lines on anime is that he said some sort of gratidute after trainbots saved from Constructicons' attack with the sudden help from Metroplex. Also he is showing fighting with G1 Predacons Tantrum in ep 12 and Throwing Mindwipe into the ground on ep 18. In tf go go, he was shown carrying slept Getsuei when he and every trainbots try to follow Shouki run into the disaster call.
At the same comic i mentioned, he always ended with word with "tsu". According to the internet and some sources it some sort of stop thing. It is hard to explain. Just look at this image instead for better information.
However in train wars: the junction, us dialouge never ended with "tsu" in the end. Talk about exagerration....Altough he is bragging how strong he is, Kaen seems know or aware about his limits. On the same comics on tf go go, Kaen expresses with overwhelmed that he felt like he was unable to push that big boulder until Shouki comforting him and asking everyone to work together. Kinda poetic that the highest self-esteem Trainbots have aware or at least know where his strengh limited into.
On tf go go chapter 37, Kaen expresses and reacts with anger and flinch one of his arms like he want to destroy that Decepticon's building.
Fun fact: In g1 toyline, he is the tallest, but in mpg toyline, he is shortest because of his alt-mode based from has the shortest length. Also here is his bio card about him.
Strengh is 7, Intelligence 6 (Is Seizan and Yukikaze is really that dumb!?), Speed is 6, Endurance is 7, Rank is 3, Courage is 6 (average.... But i think this can be explained by the panel on tf go go where he is aware he had a limit), Fireblast 5 (shockingly strong), and Skill 3 (he is the lowest).

Trainbots Prototypes
Without name version:
The Prototypes. The only Confirmation of their gender and name is Yamabuki (female) and Ginou (male). There is no confirmation about the other four. So idk if there is other information about them. So i added their personality and their gender. (Altough there is a possibility in canon the "unnamed" prototyles are males). So.... technically they are my ocs until there is confirmation about them. Will i like the canon or not i wonder what could it be. :)
Battle (He/Him)
The scariest to deal by decepticons. He is a war veteran who hates his job and being the most front line on the battlefield. He is basically G1 Protectobots Blades but it seems i make his ear part looks like Wildrider. Imagine if he had a voice like wildrider.
Miracle (She/Her)
She is full of gratidute and being the most optimistic of the bunch, but it ended her making herself the dumbest of the group. Her intelligence is average. But she is the most curious of the group but ironically she is calm and sociable. Maybe more mellow version of Pinkie Pie from Mlp.
Thunder (She/Her)
Pikachu. The hyperactive of the bunch and also a mnemosurgeon. She is the most loud and talkative of the Prototypes dispite wearing a mask. BFF of Crystal.
Crystal (She/Her)
The melacholy, calmest and most humble member of the trainbots. She had a muscle but she is prefer to hunt and collecting gems over many thing. She belives gems can hear transformers souls ans heal the broken, but it was really questionable or worse a placebo, but good luck to speak a fact to her because she is still using dispite she know it will never works. Bff with Thunder but often hang out with Miracle for she thinks the gems can healing the pain.
Ginou and Yamabuki is still the same like in bio and their skills, but one thing sure is that Yamabuki's struggle is to the point of angst or morally grey because she have to save her family she have from scrapsmetal and join the certain faction. What faction, you may ask? No thought. They could be Autobots (Maybe they are the main medic of Vis Vitalis) or other third faction like Nails (i like the idea nails are not civilians but more of a terrifying cult who pretend to be a saviour of cybertron). And also they are not a combiner if they were exist. Sorry.

Transformers Trainbots Fan-Design for my Fan-Continuity (Part 7) : Raiden
Raiden speak like the mix of a samurai and train conductor (or typical Japanese people speaks). He is the rival of Devastator but he is also kinda jealous to Superion, Defensor and Computron having an attention from their respective parental figure (Optimus Prime, Red Alert and The Burns Family, and Grimlock respectively). He does have the scientists from Japan that he really respects and he see Japan as his home country, but he felt he was unrecruited by their neglect.
I don't draw his body, imagine his torso is similiar to g1 or MPG toyline version of Raiden. I think Devastator is the guy who belives everyone "loves" of him while Raiden wants everyone "loves" him. Talk about issues....

Transformers Trainbots Fan-Design for my Fan-Continuity (Part 6): Yukikaze
Characters Inspiration reference and Fun facts:
Yukikaze's inspiration is too many of them.
Design wise, his helmet is based on: headphone, that winter hat that used by lumberjack i forgot the name of it, conductor's hat (not the flat / pancake-like shaped one), sumo hair style (i forgot the name of it but it was used by newbie rank + it is really subtle and look at the sape of his helmet tho), and a winters cap that Made of wool and also have flappers and handle cap thing on it.
His visor is based on loose winter / snow goggles. The reason his visor and optics yellow is because he is based on the third party toyline created Moon Studio's depiction of Trainbots Yukikaze (with name Ice Land)
His eyes is based on characters Astro Boy because it looks cute in my opinion. Nothing else. But his nose dosen't and mouth dosen't. Because his nose based on my shouki's nose and his mouth is wide is because MPG toyline Yukikaze had that wide smile on certain angle.
There does a four button on his stoamch area like my design of Shouki, which means he is not shut Shouki's little brother, but also Shouki's protegee.
I decided to make his head and shoulder shape to be round to describe him as : young, soft, friendly, but the shape also based on snowball especially the head.
Dispite his young age, he is not useless and He is actually reliable for Trainbots unit. He is a winter scout and trainbot's P.R. manager. Crazy isn't?
He is not as smart in academic as his brother Shouki, but he is more socially better than him. He and Kaen are the most friendly and open to normal communication to be hanged with according to Autobtos.
His rivalry with Kaen is not just preference on hot vs Cold. They could be clashed by their philosophy on life, their what should and shouldn't do, and also their strengh. They often argue, bicker and fight a lot. Altough both have respect to each other, they will not admit to each other.
Dispite he loves and supporting Shouki a lot, he does have beef with him sometimes. He dosen't fully idolized him due to he already see much his brother's flaws. Which is why when Shouki make a really bad and risky decision, he will immidiately disagree him and warn his brother to be careful and don't be reckless. However he will try to push him in the most supportive way and don't make Shouki got burnout and depressed.
He see Suiken as both wise mentor and father figure. He often practice hard his martial arts skills like every teams do. Suiken sometimes can be a little bit dotty towards Yukikaze. Yuki often said to him "i'm not a kid anymore." He can be jealous to Shouki because he got a lot of attention from Suiken sometimes and he wish Suiken can treat him like he did with Shouki.
He see Seizan as a secondary father figure dispite Seizan seems dosen't care that title (on the surface at least). When Shouki is not able to taking care of hang out with Yuki, the after often go and / or accompany Seizan on hiking so he can see and play with snow on the peak. Unlike other trainbot, Seizan almsot dosen't treat Yuki as a kid and see him as inexperience but responsible bot. Which is why Seizan sometimes teach Yuki about scout activity, survival, and many more (dispite he never said a word to Yuki and can be more strict and act aloof on the surface). On the other hand Yuki showing the picture of nature and mountains on his own social media. Which Seizan actually likes to see it more and wish to go there and climbing on that mountain.
Yuki does got the job schedule to cleaning Getsuei's workplace which is the most Messy among other workplace. Of course Yuki didn't like it and find it disgusting to him. However as an "exchange equivalent", Yuki does got entertaining reccomendation from Getusei (if he is wake up), Getusei is master in entertainment related and he gives what anime and manga Yuki likes. But Yuki can accidently and looking as "questionable content" to the point Getusei have to be careful or he will get "killed" by Shouki ("killed" in this context is live without Wi-Fi). But sometimes Yuki want to try certain trends on special media that can be dangerous and Getusei try to prevent him from that risky and cringe trends.
He is actually the most to following trends on social medias, but he is still try to be authentic and just be himself. However, he can be MOFO sometimes.
His default visor is snow goggles, but he change and switch his visor a lot outside the snow related mission or just normal routine and doing nothing depending on his mood.
He is respectable, obedient, confident and careful, but he can be as impulsive and reckless as his brother sometimes. Especially towards Kaen during fighting.
Outside his family/team, he can hang around and befriended young speed car / Motorcycle autobots like Hot Rod, Bumblebee, Hot Shot, Arcee and Moonracer.
He likes sumo and his favorite movement is "Harite". Which means he can literally and metaphorically slap / push someone (either enemy or allies). On enemy, it is for defense and fighting, which means he SLAP them literally. For allies and his team, it is usually and mainly metaphorical SLAP like slapping then to the reality if they are on their own mind and overthinking too much.
Altough he is okay on snow area and endure it, Yuki can have a red blush when overheated (or just he is blushing on certain things or moments outside snow scouting related). He had red blush, because idk the feeling and imagining of him with yellow blush tho.... Yikes.

Here is Kaen, the powerhouse and mechanic of team of Trainbots. Dispite being second oldest Senior Trio of Trainbots, he is actually really close to the Junior trio thanks to his unrelentless energy and passion for helping others i need. Dispite his tempramanetal, impatient, loud, reckless, proudful of his looks and strengh aka he has a big ego, he is actually had the good heart, broad minded, and, compassionate and being sociable towards others and allies. He is the the most extrovert of the Trainbots and knows how to make party more fun. Just makes sure don't accept him to join the karaoke....
Some inspiration and find facts:
His bandana is based on sweat bandana and hachimaki (a Japanese bandana that had color of Japanese flag and usually often seen on many medias where they are try to not giving up and do the hardworking). I actually don't know if his bandana can be separated or part of his helmet....
He is responsible for the creation of every weapon that Trainbots and Raiden have. So he knows about forgery (not that "forgery on paper" tho. He would probably hate that thing). Imagine Hoist from Rescue Bots Academy if you want to know his jobs and roles on team but more louder.
He was hailed and builded from Caminus and he was a poor and depressed back then because he is a camien outcasts and mocked by his rugged appearance, until he met a woman who work as an forge artist who have a dream to make every camiens happy and dosen't mocking the outcast for their inability to make something without teach them how.
He leader from her, they live happily with decent economy, then later became conjunx and adopted many newly builded camiens. After the death of his wife and then later his children one by one due to lack of energon farming that happened by the war of the three forges (basically bad parody of the three kingdoms), he was really sad, but not as sad as before he met his conjunx thanks to her said a work to continue her dreams and make her dreams became his dream too before she was died. He survived from the war, every try to cope and builded back from the war that ruined them.
Kaen was worked as forger again but he decided he kinda hates his costumers for not appreciation the beauty of his weapon he made. He decided to immigrate to other planet instead. He go to cybertron but accidently got into the war and join the autobtos. Very later after that he met and join Machliner's team.
His former designation is Fireblaze before he was renamed by his Scientist as Kaen. He likes his new name!
He hates Constructicons with passion. Especially to fellow jock like Bonecrusher because Bone bullying the weak. Kaen loves and belive power is everything, but he Will not do it to bully and harming the innocents.
He is the one that make Seizan/Highpeak (the most introvert of the team) to open up and go along with Trainbots by loudly "forcing and ruining" Seizan's personal space. And later they became best friends due to opposite attract. Seizan will have feeling to reach enlightment in the most satisfied way and Kaen (altough somewhat worried but still support of of Seizan's belive) finally have a worthy opponents and allies to fight alongside togher and get someone accepted every physical games Kaen start in.
Both Kaen and Suiken are Made weapons together. Suiken knows engineering and Kaen excecuted the former's plan and suggestion. Sometimes Suiken asking Kaen to control his emotion and when thing go down, he often go to Kaen's room if he dosen't want to do outdoor's activity.
He and Yukikaze's rivalry are more than just hot vs cold, but also their philosophy and belives how to save and help people. They wont admit that they secretly admit each other how passionate they are.
He and Shouki are loud duo and he is either Shouki's "battery" when the leader is having burnout, or Shouki became Kaen's brakes when later got overwhelmed of the mission and some conflict.
Dispite being the brawn of the team, he is actually a really passionate and reliable glue of the team.
He is basically Giant from anime Doraemon if he is not a bully.
