I need more pokemon blogs to follow
ooc: My dash is kinda dead, and I have a very small amount of pokemon rpers I follow and I would like to have more so I could interact and rp with a wide variety of people. If your blog has anything to do with pokemon, please reblog this and I will check your blog out and probably follow if you’re a rper.

OOC-: Hm, I’ve been trying to figure out how I want to introduce Law and his kind of crazy childhood. Not everything is going to be revealed right off the bat, some questions may arise! I might also have different headcanons about Lawrence, as, well, he had like 30 minutes in the movie and a very brief cameo in Pokemon Heroes. All I know is he’s one smooth motherfucker and nothing really beyond that?? Idk, I hope you like my portrayal of him. Also yes Law is a fucking idiot he’s supposed to be. Anyway enJOY. I’d appreciate feedback if you’re willing to give it!

Overall I like it. I like how you cover Lawrence and his issues since the movie, both his guilt and his frustration, as well as the logical progression into a sort of detached depression (though of course his usual emotions seem to have an element of detachment to them anyway, even at his happiest). The way Jenny says that he always seems like he’s in another world is very fitting.
Though two things confuse me, and they both have to do with Law. Why does Lawrence seem to forget that he exists, and why wasn’t Law wanted? And why does Law get such a ridiculously low sentence? You bring up the overall ineptitude of the Kanto police (shouldn’t he be dealt with by the Hoenn police?), but even that isn’t enough to explain their outright handwaving of his crimes. And even in the comically inept Kanto, there would (I should HOPE) be a trial.
I'm glad you like it! I'm usually very nervous about writing canon characters, especially those that are my favorite. I don't know, it's like this thing where I go 'oh geez I bet I got their personality totally wrong or misinterpreted something or--' Yeah, I have no idea what I'm doing on that part. I know he forgot Law because he was just completely out of it, but I'm still working on why he and his ex wouldn't even want him. I suppose neither thought they were ready, or Lawrence just didn't want to be connected to someone who is dependent on him. He's ridiculously ambitious, I doubt he'd want anything in his way! I'm kind of laughing though because I thought 7 years was too much! I have little grasp over the different levels of bad, and I just wanted it to be that he went on his 'real' adventure at around 19 years old, so. Here let me ramble at you forever.
OOC-: Okay this is part 2 of 'chapter 1'. It's in Law's point of view, as will every other chapter, but I'm not sure about this one. These are like rough drafts to me (as I'll most likely hate this whole thing in less than 3 months) and I'll most likely end up rewriting it. I'm usually very good at writing Law, but for some reason he feels detached from me. Like I haven't put enough thought into it yet. I'm going to write a huge document of important parts to his timeline and hopefully that will make things right, eh? Also, if one person likes it, that's enough for me. I've enjoyed myself writing this, and I love knowing that at least someone else enjoys it too! I guess when I've figured out what I'm doing, I'll fix everything up and actually put it to FF.net (it doesn't seem too many people like to read things on Tumblr). Edit: I just realized what's missing. I'm missing my voice, the magic. After nearly six years of writing stories I still can't find that. Everything is boring! Let's see if I can't amp it up in later parts.
“Care to tell me what you did?” His nails dug into the chipped paint at the windowsill. Old Pokemon figurines of Gengar, Charizard, Zoroark, and Arcanine littered the floor, the shelf broken from the door having been slammed so hard. Books were strewn across the black covered bed, depicting the tales of the Legendaries, something that had enthralled him since his aunt took him in her care five years ago. All of them were turned to pictures of an enormous red creature and a blue whale, and some had the pages ripped out and torn to little pieces on the round, neutral colored rug in the middle of his room. His heart was completely broken, you see. These beings were not beautiful and fantastic-- they were destructive, there was no way to negotiate with them, they were too powerful to stop even if everything you had done had been an accident of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. One difference he had already seen between him and his father was that HE was not detached from the world. He got angry, ridiculously angry, while his father stared at a wall all day and contemplated whatever the heck he bothered to think about. Law was angry about everything that had happened to him, and for the time being, he did not want to answer him, did not even want to see him. Five years he had been away, doing something absolutely outrageous, not bothering to see him at all. That man had even forgotten who he even was! He wanted to be back in Hoenn with his grandmother, the only reason he was there in the first place. She was from his mother's side of the family, actually cared about him, and enjoyed his presence whenever he showed up. But that Groudon. That stupid Groudon that ruined everything. He would never be allowed back in Hoenn; he was born and raised here, so they turned him over to the Kanto police and left it at that. His body shook as he curled up father in his bed, his head resting against the wall, cold from the early morning air lightly blowing in from the window. It smelled of rain. He hated the rain. It brought back bad memories and his fingers crumpled around a red shred of paper. “Lawrence, why did you tear up all of your books? You've had a long night, why don't you get up and take a shower? Your hair is matted in dirt.” He pulled his arms farther around his head, trying to sink into the wall itself. Across the room he heard plastic hit the hard wood of his desk. He looked out from the crook of his arm and saw his father picking up all the figures. He had plenty more than his four favorites; another difference between him and his father. He loved Pokemon. He wanted to be the strongest of them all, but inside he was conflicted. For months he had been on such a streak that he was blinded. None of those Pokemon deserved to die, but it was too late. Nothing now could be changed. Sometimes he wished he could be more like his mother. He remembered only vague memories of her, like her smiling face and chocolate brown, wavy hair, and all the dresses she used to wear., all the kind words she would tell him. It was probably a pained smile, forced, as she had never wanted him, but he liked to pretend it was for him. She used to bake, and even had a Pokemon friend, a Sneasel if he remembered correctly. His father never liked Pokemon. Maybe that was where things went wrong. “We're stuck here together for seven years, might as well suck it up.” “Leave me alone,” the boy said. “Leave me alone, don't talk to me. You don't even mean any of this. You're faking it. You just don't want to deal with me. You hate me. You forgot me.” “I was distracted. I'm tired, Lawrence. I don't think you quite understand.” “Hell yeah I understand! I got /destroyed by a Legendary too!/ Everything that I am is GONE.” He threw his hands into the air, a fresh wave of tears falling down his cheeks. “Even my Charmander is gone. I think I understand well enough!” His father stopped pacing the room, his eyes staring directly into his. Law expected him to chastise him for cursing, but he thought wrong. “What did you do to your wrist?” The boy jerked his arm down and covered it with the sleeve of his jacket. “Nothing,” he said. “Leave me alone.” Lawrence walked over to the bed and sat at the edge, one leg crossed over the other, his arm propped up on his knee, his head resting in his hand. He looked unimpressed. “Did you break your wrist? May I ask how so? I ended up with a concussion for days.” “You would have noticed it yesterday if you bothered to pay attention to me,” Law spat. “Crushed the fingers on this hand. Threw a pillow at me. Groudon threw me into a wall, and...and...” His chest heaved and he dug his fingers into his hair. Before long his father completely disappeared, but he was left hyperventilating in the corner of his room, with nothing to help. However, he wanted to be alone. This happened on the way back to Kanto, too. He should be ashamed of himself, but all he could feel was the tightness in his chest and the rising sun slanting through the curtains of his window. A lone Pidgey perched on the peak of the roof just outside and underneath his window, as he was on the second floor. It looked at him as he stared at it, and he tried crawling closer to the window, reaching out his hand in hope that it would come to him. It hopped away and cocked its head. It then began to preen its feathers, chirping with disinterest. He sighed and looked away, frantic and dizzy. His breath was finally coming back to him, but he trembled still. His stomach rumbled. He supposed he would need to take a shower before breakfast, so he dragged himself out of bed and made it to the bathroom, but just barely. His legs were wobbly, he still could hardly breathe. He realized then that he would have to take a bath, and be sure not to get his cast wet, which was fortunate for him. There was no way he would be able to stand, and the cast was thrown together sloppily. The entire hospital at the time was more intent on casting his wrist, bandaging a wound on his arm (that his father did not know about), and sending him away from the region as fast as they humanly could. Even the cast seemed haphazardly put together. By the time he was done and in the kitchen, it seemed to be almost noon, and he felt a little better than before. His father was sitting at the table as silently as ever, in a dark violet button up shirt and jeans. He gave the man a side glance as he walked by to grab a bowl from the cupboard and sat down gingerly with a box of marshmallow cereal. Law held the milk close to him, his face flush. “You look like you've seen a ghost.” “You don't dress like that. Ever.” “We're out of laundry detergent. Ran out last weekend.” He heaved a sigh and rubbed the back of his neck. “I haven't really been...motivated into going to the city. Too many people. Maybe I'll go tonight.” “They'll stare at you, though” “I don't care about that. They can stare at me all they want.” “You like being a show off, don't you?” “You like stating obvious facts, don't you?” Law's face turned bright red. “Thanks a lot,” he muttered. “Can I eat in my room?” “No.” Lawrence grabbed the box of cereal and dragged it to himself. “I can't have you spilling on your bed, I can't wash your sheets right now. I don't want you making more of a mess of your room, either.” “You're such a neat freak.” His father sighed and pointed a spoon at him. “It's much nicer to keep everything neat and tidy,” he said. “Now eat your breakfast.” That night he woke up, his eyes wide, his body numb, and downstairs he could hear the rustling of plastic bags and something heavy hit the counter. He rolled from lying on his stomach to his side and stared out the window, rubbing his arms to warm himself. Every fiber of his being was trembling. His breath came rapidly and he curled up, listening to the howls of the Houndoom crossing the border from Johto to Kanto. In the back of his mind he saw the great hulking beast rising out of the lava with those cold, golden eyes. He had been in the wrong place at the wrong time, and it was all flooding back to him faster than he wanted. He could feel the tears stinging his eyes again, and oh was he so tired of that feeling. That sting brought regret and annoyance, but he could not stop it. He let out a sob. As he muttered to himself to go back to sleep, he heard his door swing open-- it hardly made a noise except for a faint squeak that he recognized almost immediately. He snapped his eyes shut and pretended to be asleep. “Something must be wrong if you let out a cry.” Law said nothing. He steadied his breathing as best he could, relaxed his fingers, and almost tensed up when he felt a hand on his back. “I know your awake. Pretending won't help here.” “L-l-leave me alone.” “Not until you tell me what's wrong.” “You don't even want me, why are you being so kind?” The man hesitated. “We're forced to live together, Lawrence. Might as well make it a relatively nice atmosphere. No use hating each other for the next seven years.” He clenched his fingers. “Why pretend though? Why not just move on.” “That's what I'm trying to do.” “You don't care.” “You'll understand eventually.” “No I won't.” Law yanked the blankets up over his head and squeezed his eyes shut as tight as they could go. “Leave me alone.” His father hummed. “You were dreaming of Groudon, weren't you? Funny how messing with Legendaries runs in the family. Everything will be fine, though. Officer Jenny will be back this weekend. I'll ask if I can take you to the city then, alright? We need to get your cast off, maybe she'll let me take you to the library.” “Why do I want to go to the library?” He laughed. Law had never heard him laugh like that before; it was friendly, not as if he was scheming, and he stood up from the bed, walking over to the bookshelf. “Obviously there is no chance you'll be able to learn all cooped up in here,” he said, sounding a little...excited. “I'll teach you here, get more books than these stories. I know history and math and machinery and all sorts of things.” Law groaned and rolled over in his bed, staring at the ceiling. “I don't want to learn about that. I want to learn about the Pokemon, the different regions, nature.” “Then I'll include it in my lessons. Officer Jenny never said anything about us not being able to use the internet, so we can use that, too. Maybe I'll teach you to cook. Seven years is a long time.” “Don't bother. At least not right now. I don't think I can go back to sleep.” Something hit his window. The boy nearly jumped ten feet in the air and flung himself to it, throwing aside the curtain. Nothing was there. It had been a very loud thud, like glass against glass. He crawled out of bed and backed away from the window in fear that it could be something else beyond a simple thud. What if someone was out there? Plenty of people were angered at him and his father, he would not be surprised if someone would try to break in. Lawrence grabbed his upper arm and he screeched, yanking himself away. Oh it throbbed now. “D-don't touch me there,” he said. His voice was quiet, it squeaked. “I uh. Bad gash on my arm, I...” There was another thud, but this time an overly cheery face appeared in the window. Law screamed as if he was being stabbed and nearly fell down the stairs behind him. Lawrence became stiff. “W-wait...” Law ran back into the room, dodging under Lawrence's hand as he reached out to grab him. “Look, it's an Aipom.” “A what?” “Really? You can't bother to learn all the Pokemon?” Law was trembling still, what was new?, as he reached across the bed and opened the window. “Look at her, she's so thin.” There were bite marks on her neck. Marks that Law knew all too well. “This is a Pokemon that survived my Charmander. Why are you here?” She grinned despite her horrific appearance and crawled through the window. Lawrence look appalled and demanded it get out at once, but Law ignored him. He let the Pokemon get up on his shoulder. Around her neck was a sort of pouch that she shook. Pieces of glass shook around in it. “What do you have?” Law asked. “Do you collect glass?” She gave him a knowing look and dug out a bright stone that glimmered. Law recognized it as a Shiny Stone. Afterward, she brought out a piece of flaming rock that glowed from within. A Firestone. Law laughed and pat her on the head. “Look, she collects evolution stones. I heard Aipom love to hoard things.” “Very nice, now get her out. She's a mess.” “No.” Law tore through his room and found a case of Pokemon food hidden in the back of his sock drawer. He handed a handful of the pellets to Aipom, who took them with glee. She gave them a salute and bounced back through the window, swinging from their roof and to a nearby tree. Law had a Potion in his hand that he had intended to use, but it was too late now. He set it on his nightstand and stared into the dark sky. It was probably ten at night. “I miss having a Pokemon.” Lawrence let out an exasperated sigh and ran his hand through his disheveled hair. “I can't do this right now,” he breathed, turning to head down the stairs. The boy stayed on his bed, forlorn. For a brief moment he had the very thing that kept him going for so long months ago, and then it was gone just like that. Again. He sauntered down the stairs, dragging his feet along. His pajamas were two sizes too big, but they were light blue with cloud patterns, something his aunt had made him before he had gone on his adventure. Now he was too distraught, his chest tightening again. Before his vision blacked out, he heard a shout and briefly felt himself be lifted.
Reblog This If you are a Pokemon Ask blog and I can ask you stuff.
Just want to find out if there are any others I havent followed yet ouo
Reblog if you wouldn't mind getting some anons.
OOC-: Good afternoon! Law's still trapped as a Zorua so if you have any questions for him, send them over! If you want trainer specific ones I gueeessss I can answer those ones too. XD
Reblog if you don't mind having multiple different rps with the same mun and muse
Reblog this if your inbox is open 24/7 for plotting.
OOC-: Hello yes I am Law's mun and the person continuously crying over a very minor character hi. This is me actually looking pretty, I'm like 5 feet tall and always look like a hobo.
OOC-: Law and his Lucario have such a close bond with each other that they can move perfectly in sync. Lucario are such powerful Pokemon and often times trainers cannot unlock their potential, but after spending nearly 7 years together, they were unable to discover this potential. When they get a good battle streak going they're pretty bad ass. Then you distract Law and Lucario gets kneed in the guts and thrown across the battle field! 8D But they're really close, yeah. Law saved Lucario one time! Jumped off a cliff to save him one time.
