Juicing Recipes For Weight Loss
Manual labor often leads to a broken body in middle age. How is this different than exercise? via /r/Fitness
This may be a very stupid question, but I know people that work in labor intensive jobs. In their youth, they are amazingly strong and able bodied. However, as they grow older, they seem to suffer from physical ailments at a much higher rate / earlier age than “normal.”
We exercise for the exact opposite reason – to remain strong and fit as we get older.
What’s the difference? And, are there things that we can inadvertently do while training/exercising that are actually counter-productive / damaging?
It just seems worrying that, while putting our bodies through strenuous exercise, we may potentially be making things worse, instead of better.
