A while ago I had this other Les Mis dream where Javert was an FBI agent and Valjean was his criminal partner that uses his criminal knowledge to help like in that one show White Collar that I never watched. It would be called Black and White in reference to Javert’s views on morality and also Valjean’s nickname as Monsieur Leblanc.

I’d like to imagine that sometimes when Valjean tries to kiss him Javert just leans back and cranes his head up out of reach with a smug smirk as he watches Valjean gets frustrated

(why must you do this; he already has to stand on his tip toes and grab your collar just to get anywhere near your face, you stubborn behemoth)

It’s not that Valjean is short, per say–maybe just an inch or so below average–but Javert is just WAY TOO DAMN TALL and he lords it over him

It was, in a matter of opinion, officer Leblanc’s fault for verbally assaulting Enjolras and his friends. Javert had no idea that would lead to this.
