This is a long overdue post from Spring Break, but better late than never!
After starting my new job, which I’ll have a blog post about it some time within the next few months, I’ve been getting sick so my life has just be consumed with work & being sick. Spring Break came along and we decided to spend it in New Orleans! We, (Andy + our friends) attended Buku there and also spent some time in Lake Charles. I actually edited together a little montage of our trip that I’ll include here:
We drove 5-6 hours to New Orleans from Houston and rented a cute little Airbnb house! Andy and I attended Day 1 of Buku & spent the next day exploring New Orleans with a few others while most of the group attended both days. The scenery was timeless, aged and the people were over the top, in a good way. From Bourbon Street, the Sculpture Garden, and the French Quarter. There is so much history in this city and you can definitely see and feel it with the shops, restaurants, & people who surround it. A full day of adventuring and seeing what New Orleans had to offer wiped us out, drunken us, & filled us with yummy shrimp & grits, my faaaave. Then we were off to Lake Charles for a little gambling at Golden Nugget and a night in at Justianna’s amazing lake house. #PRIVILEGED
