look what a beautiful piece of art iâve created
Tucutes think this is an exaggeration but even before I was a transmed/truscum, I saw conversations exactly like this.
The laws of the jungle are often brutal, but so it seems are those of copyright. For years a wildlife photographer has been dragged through the courts in A
THIS is what i mean when I say animal rights groups are absolute garbage that waste time, resources and money, all whilst doing nothing for animalâs welfare.Â
peta have ruined a personâs life and career over a fucking photo. This is what peta does with itâs donated money and resources. This is what youâre supporting when you support animal rights groups.
Itâs even worse because the photographer was working towards macaque conservation and welfare.
Okay but how the fuck did this not just immediately get thrown out of court? Why is this absolutely ridiculous case even being considered?
A biracial lesbian named Storme Delaverie started Stonewall with a crowd of gay men.
Marsha Johnson threw the first brick. Nice anon tho
This is factually untrue, though.
@2:54 âThe definitive turning point came when a lesbian had been inside the bar and was being roughed up by the police as they took her out of the bar into a patrol wagon. She also said to the onlookers, she said, âWhy donât you guys do something?ââ
In this podcast from Making Gay History, you can listen to Marsha P. Johnson in her own words explain how she showed up at Stonewall after the rioting had already been incited by an employee of the bar, Storme Delarverie.
There are a lot of myths surrounding an event as legendary as the Stonewall Riots. Even Marsha had to correct the record that Sylvia Rivera wasnât there the first night. But you donât need to wield historical revisionism against gays and lesbians as if they owe trans people everything for rights secured by gay people.
The gay rights movement existed much earlier outside America, but also predated Stonewall by decades. Stonewall wasnât as immediately successful in changing laws compared to the Black Cat Riots the year earlier in Los Angeles, so you only remember its commemoration by the gay activists who mobilized afterward along the East Coast.
if youâre gay this is what you see when you die
so i decided to watch and within 30 seconds this happens :///
Oh god I cant stand chase ross
Heâs the guy who goes 0 to 100 over dating preferences right?
Yeah. He use to be a logical human being now heâsâŠoh god hes just horrible.
some people on insta said i should post my workout routine since i mentioned how im so happy with the results, so hereâs my little workout guide for my fellow trans folk! I focused on getting a more masculine body because obviously thatâs what I want. Iâm so happy with the results, this workout is saving my fucking life!!!! I canât get on T soon so this has really been keeping my dysphoria in check. I barely get body dysphoria, i love how my clothes looks on me, i love feeling confident for once in my life!!! HOWEVER Donât go overboard with working out my friends. Do not work out in a binder, you MUST take days off to let your muscles heal, and you CANâT starve yourself! Fitness is all about health and diet! Take care of yourself. This is also MY workout routine, you may not get the same results as I have! Every body is different.Â
EDIT: ahh I really didnât expect this thing to blow upâŠ.A few people have brought it to my attention that some of the nutrition here could be wrong/not work for everyone. I apologize if I caused any harm. I think I stressed enough that you shouldnât starve yourself to lose weight. Thatâs very dangerous, and if youâre prone to such habits I suggest donât count calories, etc, and just make sure your diet is very nutritious. I just provided a way to lose weight that my doctor told me about. You donât need to lose weight if you donât want to. Obviously if youâre already thin thereâs no need to make a goal to lose weight; thatâs dangerous. Also, some of this may or may not be helpful depending on your body type. I was underweight before working out so I have no idea how it would affect someone overweight! Please donât hold this post to such a high standard; this was just my own routine and things I do to stay in shape, I obviously canât cater to everyone. I literally didnât expect this post to blow up like it did, this was literally just for a few people. Sorry for any harm it caused!
I never wanted to be a trans male, I wanted to be biologically male.
Trans men ARE biologically male, even without HRT or surgery. Y'all need to stop telling yourselves otherwise.
As flattering as that is, we arenât and thatâs why weâre transitioning.
But you are! Iâm glad transitioning is helping you reach a point where you visually and mentally feel at a place where your innate maleness and physical maleness are in unison. Thatâs something to take a lot of happiness in.
For other trans men, that might not be so necessary or medically possible. They are just as male as you or me or any other man. đ
Iâm not going to sit here and tell you that this way of thinking isnât positive and wonât help certain people, but thatâs just what it is, a way of thinking.
At the end of the day I was born female. They took a quick peek at my anatomy and came to the conclusion that biologically I am female. They werenât incorrect and here I am now looking to TRANSITION because of this. And while I havenât started my physical transition I am fortunate enough to be read as male, be treated as male, and have this level of peace before I start my journey. Having this peace doesnât and will never change my biology.
Your mindset is flattering of course but it isnât anything close to fact.
Born biologically male my ass, Iâd GIVE ANYTHING to have been born male donât fucking dare try to tell me I uwu actually was born male.
I endure the painful surgeries, the copious amount of drs appointments, the headache of insurance, and the weekly shots because I was indeed born female and that makes my life unbearable without medical transition.
Telling me I was actually born male is akin to spitting in my face and telling me Iâm doing this all for nothing.
Please, think before you ever open your mouth again, I donât need someone on the internet trying to make me deny reality.
âTelling me I was actually born male is akin to spitting in my face and telling me Iâm doing this all for nothing.â
^^^^^YES EXACTLY THANK YOU! SOMEONE GETS IT!
here are two transmed and adt nico icons i made for myself. feel free to use them.
Iâll admit Iâm a bit old school. I only believe in two genders (man and woman and I count intersex as one or the other because they typically choose to be seen as a man or woman), and five sexualities. (gay, lesbian, straight, asexual, and bisexual). However, that does not mean I ainât open to your opinions, so long as youâre respectful. Itâs sometimes good to get the others point of view. I may not agree with some aspects of the new age, Iâm still iffy on non-binary folk, but Iâll respect their pronouns like I would with a man or woman. I firmly believe you need dysphoria to be trans, just like you need to be attracted to the same sex to be considered gay/lesbian. If you didnât need dysphoria, why transition? Why claim youâre trans? Whatâs the point? Why go through three (3) major surgeries if itâs not required? A lifetime of HRT? The mutilation of your birth sex and the ostracization of your peers? I may not agree with some aspects, but I can be open to others. Iâm against non-dysphoric people pretending to be something they arenât. Iâm against the 75+ genders. Iâm against the idea that asexuality is a spectrum - either you are or you arenât, there is no in between. But I can be open to the idea that non-binary folk can experience dysphoria and be considered transgender, etc. This is to the âradicalsâ on Tumblr:
You canât force your ideals on someone who doesnât agree with you, nor can you threaten and berate them. People are different with different opinions and some of those opinions are scientifically correct (dysphoria) and your arguments against scientific backings are honestly repetitive and without legitimate evidence (scholarly articles written by a professional in that field, not some feminist that has the same ideals you do). You canât cuss someone out when they disagree with you either, thatâs pretty childish.
Honestly, some of the shit yaâll come up is wild. Xir/Xe pronouns? Neopronouns? Kin-types? Wild.
Can you "dumb down" or rephrase what you said about politicizing identities? I don't get it. Or give an example? Thank you!
No problem.
Letâs use the most common Tumblr example for this.
A feminist makes a statement. A non-feminist woman disagrees with it. The feminist then comes back and presumes that the disagreement comes from a man.
The feminist in this instance believes that women would automatically agree with them, just because itâs (allegedly) a feminist statement.Â
Then, when the feminist finds out that the person disagreeing is a woman, they then claim that the woman is defective in some way, like she has internalised misogyny, or that sheâs catering to men, etc, instead of understanding that women have different opinions, and being a woman does not automatically mean that she must have a certain set of beliefs.
That would be politicising the âwomanâ identity label.
It happens all the time on Tumblr and elsewhere. People presume that if you have certain identity labels, you must therefore conform to certain political belief systems.
A black person with right-wing political beliefs is often called a ârace traitorâ (along with heinous anti-black slurs).
Iâve been called a âkapoâ by a non-Jew because Iâve said that I believe in freedom of speech, as another example.
But the fact is that having an identity label means nothing when it comes to political beliefs. Some gay men opposed same-sex marriage. I disagree with them, but their stance doesnât make them âless gayâ or deserving or any homophobic abuse.
Identity labels arenât political. Identity labels â the ones that youâre born with/that you canât change â are part of you. Those labels arenât a symbol of what you believe politically, your favourite comedian, your favourite genre, your favourite colour, your phobias or anything else.
The only ârightâ way to have those identity labels is to simply be those things. Black, white, Asian, Arab, Jewish, Native, straight, bi, gay, lesbian, asexual, disabled, mentally ill, trans, cis, man, woman, whatever. None of those labels mean that you have to be a leftist or a right-winger. None of those labels mean that you have to be a feminist or an MRA. None of those labels mean absolutely anything other than that you have or are those labels.
Identity labels are not political. They just exist.
The Endocrine Society, an international organization of medical experts and biological researchers, has released a new set of guidelines for caring for transgender patients. Along with the guidelines, the organization has issued a position statement calling on federal and private insurers to cover the costs of all medical interventions a physician might prescribe for a transgender patient, including hormone replacement therapies and surgeries.
The updated guidelines and position statement reflect the latest research on gender identity and the shift away from understanding gender dysphoria as a mental illness. âConsiderable scientific evidence has emerged demonstrating a durable biological element underlying gender identity,â the statement reads. âIndividuals may make choices due to other factors in their lives, but there do not seem to be external forces that genuinely cause individuals to change gender identity.â

This.
Iâm sorry to inform many in tumblrâs âtransâ community, but being trans is not a choice. Itâs not something you are because you donât fit the â50s stereotyped gender roles. Being trans is biological. This kind of research has been around for decades. It was nascent when I transitioned back in â77. Between then and â84, I participated in several studies towards the discovery that being trans was something biological and something that someoneâs either born with or happens so early in childhood development that itâs indistinguishable from born with.Â
Trans is a medical condition. As such it should be covered by ALL insurance companies as well as state insurers. Saying itâs a choice is simply scientifically wrong. And saying itâs a choice allows the insurance industry to paint life-saving transition treatments as âcosmeticâ and ânot medically necessaryâ. In short, the tumblr trans-trender community is actively hurting actual trans people.Â
Being a transmedicalist is not transphobic or anti-trans nor does it make you âscumâ (as in the epithet âtruscumâ.) Transmedicalism is backed by science and has been backed by science for over 40 years. If youâre super offended by those facts, then perhaps you need to examine why you think youâre trans. Because believe me, all the trans people Iâve met in real life in the past 40 years, anyone off of tumblr or away from âqueer studiesâ brainwashed ivory tower crap, WANTED and NEEDED medical transition. I have met 100s of trans people in my life. Many had reasons they couldnât transition. ALL of them WANTED to transition. Those who didnât learned within the year of diagnostic treatment, that they werenât trans.Â
Trans people tend to take great comfort in knowing that this wasnât something they chose or a psychological âproblemâ. Knowing that it was part of their biology. Because trans people donât want to be trans. We wish we were born cis of the right gender that matches our brains. Trans women wish they were born cis women and will do everything they can to approach that approximation. Trans men wish they were born men and will do everything they can to approach that approximation.
Being trans is a medical condition. Itâs defining symptom is gender dysphoria. The treatment for it is medical transition to the opposite gender, in as close a way as the trans person can manage and medical science can provide. Treatment for medical transition should be fully covered by all forms of insurance, private and state. Period. End of.Â
Truscum/transmedicalist argument: trans people are the gender they say they are because of their medical condition (transsexualism/gender dysphoria)
TERF argument: trans people donât exist/are not the gender they say they are because of biological sex.
If you really think these two groups are equivalent youâre a moron
Is it any coincidence that TERF rhetoric and truscum rhetoric are the same? đ€
I feel like TERFs and truscum are essentially the same, they just have different reasoning for excluding trans people.
Truscum want transition covered by insurance terfs want us dead but sure were the same you transphobe.
All trans people are dysphoric.
No dysphoria equals cis.
Hey just a daily reminder that transsexuality shouldnât be treated as some special aesthetic or just some identity. gender dyspohria is a very serious illness that can negatively affect someoneâs everyday life and transitioning is often a permanent solution for someone to be able to live a normal life. treating transitioning like a cute way to âbreak the gender normsâ or whatever is a really douchey thing to doÂ
I dont get people who âchoose to be transâ.
Why? Youâre completely comfortable with your biological sex, why do you want to transition just because you think tuxedos look cool on you? Or that a dress looks snazzy on you?
Why would you want to spend large amounts of money, changing your body (with some results that permanent), only to GIVE you gender dysphoria?
I donât get people sometimes.

My favorite part, of the many doozies, is how they wear Che patches while claiming they want to protect minority groups and LGBT. Do they have any idea what Che did to those groups?
Let me tell you about Dr. Ernesto âcheâ Guevara
My family came from cuba in the early sixties for obvious reasons. Just outside of havana there was a political prison called La Cabaña. Ernesto âcheâ Guevara was in charge of this political prison and while being the commandant of this place he earned the nickname âel carnicero de la cabañaâ in English âthe butcher of la cabañaâ. You donât get the name butcher for nothing. He executed gay men, something like 8,000, for being effeminate. He also once executed a 14 year old boy for disrespecting one of the guards.
It grinds my fucking bones everytime I see some american teenager think Ernesto was this rebel who liberated people. He was as much a liberator as Stalin was an opponent to starvation.
