I find it really disappointing that the incredibly basic statement "Pronouns don't equal gender and presentation doesn't equal gender and presentation doesn't equal pronouns" Was only an accepted and respected take in the broader queer community for about two years and now we've regressed so far that it's seen not just as silly but as borderline problematic to expect people to gender you correctly if you use he/him as a fem presenting person or she/her as a masc presenting person or neutral pronouns as a person who is not 100% perfectly androgynous. But you're not allowed to be androgynous either because apparently genderfuckery is actually harmful to binary trans people and if you don't conform to cis patriarchal standards you're just as bad as the oppressors enforcing them because you might make somebody a little uncomfortable... right.

Being schizospec means psychosis, disorganized thoughts, yes. But there’s also a wide variety of negative symptoms that can be equally if not more disabling that are often overlooked.

While positive symptoms include the presence of things, negative symptoms are reduction/absence of certain things.

Memory problems, Language difficulties, concentration issues, impaired social cognition, impaired executive functions, Anhedonia (reduced pleasure, especially with tasks), Avolition (reduced motivation), amongst others.

These can be very disabling! And on top of that there are many side effects from medication that may amplify these, or cause other disabling and potentially permanent side effects.

I think education on schizospec disorders is really important! It’s not just psychosis, even if hallucinations and delusions may be present.

If you’re schizospec and dealing with these issues - I see you! You’re not alone, you deserve to be treated with respect.

While watching a DVD from the library my TV popped up a message saying to press a button if I wanted to watch this from additional providers.

It's never done that before so I looked it up and turns out Roku TVs have added all sorts of creepy things in the privacy section since I last checked.

One of which being they take screenshots from what you're watching and send them to third parties to identify it.

Fucking hell! Remember when every fucking device in your life wasn't a spy implanted in your home and working against your interests to try and sell your data? Remember how nice that was??

Remember when the TV was just a tool that would play the things you plugged into it?

PSA - Do not buy an LG smart TV. They just added a line to their terms of use that it's the user's responsibility to inform any guests in their house that by entering they consent to be recorded, in order to comply with wiretapping laws. That thing is literally recording you.

You can find tutorials online telling you how to open that thing up and physically remove the mic and wifi module. Frankly I don't trust anything less.
