Made this blog on impulse, but hey! I guess I’m doing this.

Welcome to trans-joy-is, a blog where you can send in your examples and moments of trans joy through the ask box. I also reblog posts about trans joy, but if you want me to delete my reblog just tell me and I will absolutely do that

I don’t assume what flavor of trans someone is in my tags, or tag gender related terms unless they’re stated, so if you do want to specify your gender, I’ll go ahead and tag it!

I make a point to include as few examples of transphobia on this blog as possible (when it comes up it's from the mouths of trans people, always tagged), and I will not put any transphobic replies, asks, or anything else on this blog

When I was in high-school I didn't know what I was. I liked girls, so bi? And then later- no, lesbian, I don't like guys... later still, gender fluid? Maybe?

Years later it all settled, almost 30 years old: I'm a trans man, I am proudly bisexual, and even though I still look feminine right now before I get my top surgery, I can take comfort in knowing who I am, that I know it now.

There's no shame if it takes years to figure it out, or minutes, or months. People are always changing and growing and learning, about others and themselves.

Things will eventually make sense, give yourself time.

we are always saying this - it's okay to question, be unsure, or change your labels as you learn more about yourself!

I have exactly one hair on my face that grows longer than the rest, and it's too thin to be visible and not in a place where facial hair grows, but it still makes me happy

trans joy is my twin coming out to me as trans fem, while im a trans man. my sibling has decided they want to put off transitioning until the worlds a little safer, but i told them if/when theyre ready to come out to people other than me they'll have me behind them the whole way 🩷 im very proud of them

Been watching Somebody Somewhere on HBO max recently and ohhhhh my god it feels SO good to see fat queer characters treated so normal on screen. The main character is a fat woman, and I am OBSESSED with this fat trans man character named Fred Rococco who is just incredibly charming and funny and wonderful to see
