Q: Why so many trigger/content warning tags?
A: Because my blogs are intended to be safe spaces. I want to make them as easy to navigate as possible for everyone, and that includes people that are sensitive to certain topics/words/etc. If you think TWs/CWs are stupid or unnecessary, then you are not my target audience and you should go elsewhere.
Q: Why do you add a TW to posts with the q word?
A: As someone who has suffered a traumatic experience that involved that word being used as a slur, I know firsthand what it's like to find that word triggering. I've since reclaimed it for myself, but it was a long, difficult, upsetting process. That word is absolutely everywhere in the LGBTQ+ community, and while I'm happy it's widely reclaimed, some people haven't reclaimed it and some never will. I want my blogs to be safe for those sensitive to the q word, as they deserve to be a part of the community and not shunned for their struggles.
Q: Why are anonymous asks disabled? What if I don't want to be mentioned in my request when it's posted?
A: Anonymous asks are disabled to prevent spam and harassment. If you would like to remain anonymous when your request is posted, simply let me know in your ask! I won't mention you in the post if you don't want to be mentioned.
Q: Why are you red on Shinigami Eyes?
A: Shinigami Eyes notoriously marks trans men, intersex people, nonbinary people, and tucutes as red even if they are trans-friendly. If you see me marked as red, please mark me as trans-friendly. It's bizarre that some people have chosen to mark me and other trans advocates as red.
Q: Why didn't you make my request?
A: Not all requests get made. If I sat down and made every single request I've ever gotten, I would have no free time left or memory left on my computer. This is not my job, and I am not compensated for making content. Me not making your request is not me disagreeing with it or intentionally excluding anyone, it just didn't make it into my accepted requests list. I get a lot of them and need to make my own ideas into userboxes, and that means I simply cannot fulfill all requests.
Q: Why did you alter my request?
A: I typically only do this with anonymous requests, but sometimes I will change words/phrases a bit to make the animation a bit more inclusive or accurate. I always correct grammatical/spelling errors, as well. If a grammatical/spelling error is intentional, you have to tell me in your request.
Q: Do you take commissions?
A: Not at the moment, maybe not ever. I worry that monetizing my content would take the fun out of it for me.
Q: Do you queue any posts?
A: Yes, I do this sometimes, especially if I make batches of userboxes (the same words but for different identities) and I don't tag any of my queued posts as being queued.
A: There are tons and tons of different LGBTQ+ identities. Like, a lot. If I made a single userbox for every identity, it would take a ridiculous amount of time. I try to look at the LGBTQIA+ Wiki for more obscure identities from time to time, so I can make userboxes for them.
A: No, for my own safety, I will not be showing my actual face. The closest thing I can show is this Picrew by Makowka. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to draw anything over it, so just imagine me with a nasallang piercing and a goatee.
Q: Why did you block me/my friend?
A: For breaking one or more of my rules. Also, don't ever contact me on behalf of a person I've blocked or on an alternative account if I've blocked you. I block people for at least one reason, and never unblock.
Q: Why are some posts tagged with minors dni? What if I'm almost an adult?
A: If I tag a post with 'minors dni,' it's because the post is about sex or sexual things. I am an adult- I should not have to explain why I don't want minors interacting with my posts about adult topics. It's gross. I don't care if you're a single day away from turning 18, if a post says 'minors dni,' that includes you, too.
Q: Are you entirely anti-para?
A: I'm only against harmful and dangerous paraphilias. If you have a paraphilia that isn't unethical or anything, like for feet or something, then I don't care at all. I'm anti-incest, anti-pedophilia/hebephilia, anti-zoophilia, etc.
Q: Can I spam like/reblog/reply?
A: Spam likes/reblogs are fine, but please do not create an excessive amount of replies.
Q: Do you support BLM/Stop Asian Hate?
A: Absolutely! My blogs are safe for anyone of any race/ethnicity/culture.
Q: Do you support Gaza/Free Palestine?
A: Yes! Zionists/Israel supporters are not welcome on any of my blogs.
Q: Do you support Ukraine?
A: Yes! Supporters of the Russian military are not welcome on any of my blogs.
Q: What's your political alignment?
A: Hardcore liberal. Socialist-leaning, though I need to learn more about socialism and other things before I label myself a socialist.
Q: Why do you stop posting sometimes?
A: Because I'm a human being. I have a life of my own and things I need to do that take priority over my blogs. I'm not always feeling creative either, so I wait until I feel creative again before making content. Making content when I don't feel a spark makes the content lack-luster.
Q: How do you make these userboxes?
A: Yerich.net! I will eventually make a tutorial for how I make my userboxes using yerich.net, but it is fairly simple. I use GIMP and Paint 3D to edit the images.
Q: How will I know if my request isn't going to be made?
A: It simply won't ever be posted. I won't start responding to requests just to reject them, there would be tons of rejections I would have to send and it would make me feel bad.
Q: Can I re-send a request?
A: No. If Tumblr says your request was sent successfully, it probably was. Please do not send a request more than once.
Q: Will you ever add content IDs to your old posts?
A: No. I add alt text to all of my new posts, however, I have more userboxes posted to my blog than I have time to add alt text to. That would take an amount of time that I just don't have.
Q: What are your LGBTQ+ identities?
A: Check out my pronouns.page and my pronouns.cc! My pronouns.page has my main identities, names, pronouns and general terms. My pronouns.cc lists all of my xenogenders. Mainly, I'm a birose (biromantic/bisexual) nonbinary trans man that uses he/they/it/xe pronouns.
