there's nothing more romantic than melting into the one you love. don't cry, non-human julian. wax love will conquer all. this is one of my favorites from daft punk's "RAM." nice to see daft punk doing a narrative based video for a change.

this song on repeat. there's that blood orange beat we all know and love. dev hynes has been all over the interwebs promoting his new album. check out the article the fader wrote on him for their december issue and be sure to fall in love with cupid deluxe over and over again.

dear mr. inch punch, you make lovely beats. this jessie ware remix in particular is the perfect blend of ambience, soft tones, and reverb while still preserving the essence of the original track. i always feel like the best remixes take the best parts of a song and repackage them with a different backbone and subtle additions to make it fundamentally different, yet familiar. cheers to you for doing this flawlessly! xoxo, c.

it's been a while since i've posted one of these and posted in general but i found an ounce of inspiration yesterday so here i am.

lately, i've been moved by the simplest details -- a nuance in a beat, a subtle gesture, a fleeting feeling -- all these comprise our experiences. and yet it's funny, sometimes odd, and often disjunctive to experience these in isolation, collectively. it's like magnifying a digital image and all you're really left with are all these pixels that look almost like nothing but make up so much more.

justin timberlake - suit and tie directed by: david fincher

it's nice to see JT off the movie screens and back in the recording studio (where he belongs). he's obviously grown as an artist and i hate to say it, but perhaps the acting has helped with some of the stylistic choices in the whole 20/20 aesthetic. or in the context of this video, maybe that's just the sheer talent of director, david fincher. JT's image is definitely going through a makeover, and a successful one at that. he feels more mature, and particularly classy in this video with the juxtaposition of the vintage and modern. whatever the hell he's doing, i like it. keep it coming, JT. my how you've grown since your time in *NSYNC.
