Translistings Relaunch
Hi everyone. My name is Jane, and this is something I’ve been planning to do for a good long while now.
A while back, I set up this blog to help fill in the gap left behind when transhousingnetwork began to fall by the wayside, but unfortunately due to personal life circumstances I wasn’t able to commit the time needed to properly run it, nor was its submission system set up in a way that I could even if I did have the time. Now I’m finally in a position where I can relaunch Translistings, and I’m very excited to do so.
Translistings is a blog designed to take submissions of housing listings specifically for transgender, nonbinary, and gender questioning folks, and present them in an easily-navigable way for people to find and respond to -- similar to the old transhousingnetwork, but with some much-needed tweaks to its submission system.
Currently I’m sitting on a whopping 0 submissions since I’ve just set the thing back up, so I’d really appreciate it if you could share this around so that I can start populating the page, and so people can start finding places to live in an environment safer than a subreddit or craigslist again.
