This is actually false, though it used to be true before Tumblr fixed it. Now, anonymous messages are blocked through the sender’s IP address rather than the account they’re signed into at the time. While the user will still be blocked from your inbox, they will not show up on your blocklist. Which is good, because this means people can’t just sign out of tumblr before sending a cruel anon to bypass the anon block feature.

I personally hate it when some transmeds go out of their way to laugh at the faces of non-dysphorics who mistakenly convinced themselves that they were trans, actually took the hormones, and regretted it. Surely this must help change their views on transgender people? I know I for one regretted it, but I was never a "trender" to begin with. I genuinely believe you need dysphoria to be trans, and I thought it was dysphoria. It's my own fault, I know this. But I know how bad dysphoria hurts now.

As I was reading this, I was nodding my head. Agreeing with you. Confused and concerned about the fact that this was something you felt needed to be said. Something that needed to be addressed. Damn I never realised that telling people to kill themselves and stuff had a name? I’m a Trans Guy Transmed but I try not to push my ideas into others. I’ve still been Suicide Baited plenty of times though,which surprisingly doesn’t help when you’re actually suicidal.

Surprisingly so. Intrusive thoughts are weird, and our minds (especially when we’re already struggling) can definitely latch on to cruel phrases people throw at us. Sure, saying “go choke” to a perfectly healthy person might not do much harm, but you can’t tell who is and isn’t healthy on the internet.
