Transtalia needs a mod!
This blog has been running for over a year and a half, and we’ve been blown away by the amount of support and activity we’ve gotten. We couldn’t have done it without our followers and submitters!
You might have noticed less activity in the last few weeks, and what I’ve decided is that we need another mod. While Transtalia is important to me, neither me or Mod Jasper are nearly as active in the fandom as we used to be.
That’s why I want to bring on a new mod! While I still want to run Transtalia when I can, I have a lot of other obligations and interests. You guys deserve a mod that’s as enthusiastic and active as you are.

How long has this blog been up? I just discovered it and it's AMAZING! (Is it ok if I rant?) because It's nice to see some unproblematic people in this fandom. I get that some people in the fandom are young (like me I'm 14) and just need to be steered in the right direction, but there is just too many bad things. The way funimation handled the dub could've been better too... Anyway! I really love this blog! And seriously though, how long has this blog been running? I'd love to know! :D

Okay, but imagine this. Genderfluid 2P Italy spending their entire life hiding their identity and acting all tough and defensive because they don’t think they’re “masculine” enough before befriending agender 2P Germany, who finds out and encourages them to be comfortable with who they are. Months pass, with 2P Germany calmly working with 2P Italy so that they can feel safe in their gender label, until at last the day comes when 2P Italy can fluctuate between genders without feeling like they’re being judged. That day, 2P Italy showed up to 2P Germany’s house wearing a punk shirt and a skirt, with a flower tucked behind their ear. Both nations threw a party to celebrate.

Kinda self-boost here, but if anyone is in the mood to terrify themselves, I wrote a fanfiction/novelization of HetaOni with three MC’s who are trans. Italy, who only mentions it once; and Prussia and America who have a few scenes discussing binding complications. All faab trans guys. It comes up mid-way through the story explicitly, but isn’t really a plot point.
There’s no transphobia, and none of them get killed (well, stay dead. It IS a horror story.) It’s just how I write the characters and so I ran with it when doing this project. There IS other, non-gender related potentially triggering stuff, but I explain what and how I warn for it in the story notes on the first page.
You don’t have to have played the fangame or watched a Let’s Play to read the story; I wrote it assuming people would read it who hadn’t encountered that before.
(I have a few other trans Prussia things on my author’s page, and I mean to do more stuff with Hungary and Poland as trans women, but - that was a big project. I’ll get around to it.)
