why in the everloving FUCK did I just get a pop up ad on tumblr that had to play before I was allowed to close it. holy fuck this app is becoming one of those ad fueled mobile games
four line sentences are good and okay. its cool. you dont need to end your setnence or that thought! add another comma or an em dash. everything will be okay. it makes sense and flows well. #awesome #mybehemothsentence

I rlly really love him
(some guy on the internet voice) it's so unrealistic and forced when women win fights against men in stories. of course, when a young boy defeats a huge man I'm cheering and screaming because it is so badass, and when a frail old man defeats a cocky young warrior I feel nothing but satisfaction. I love these power fantasies about easily dispatching people who underestimate you, a thing I desire despite the fact that I will likely never have the skill to achieve it in real life, but I'm pretty sure women don't have that same desire, and even if they do, they shouldn't get to see it in media. because it's so unrealistic, you see. I mean I'm smart enough to know I can't take down a big man in a fight but the women, you know, they'll get ideas. I could probably do it if I trained hard enough, but the women??? for some reason I can't see it happening, and who can say why that is.
Guy who has a non-research degree in a field that never studies human subjects: Here are my opinions on what needs to be done for me to respect this field I've decided to become a denier of.
[Extreme breach of scientific ethics]
[Violent abuse of power]
[Method that actually doesn't obtain any information]
[Controlled double-blind studies of phenomena where that is literally impossible]
[Seeking empirical proof that a word has the meaning that it's defined as]
[Study that would have a dropoff rate of 100%]
Additionally, how do we know that [best currently available theory] is true, and not [dominant theory from 100 years ago that repeatedly failed in the face of evidence]? I have found some minor methodological flaws in [studies that were not designed to prove the best available theory, but rather examine edge cases within that theory], so we should really consider [nonsense with no evidence backing it whatsoever].
These guys always have like, a Master's in some type of engineering and think the course on error analysis they've forgotten half of from their undergrad qualifies them to debunk the expertise of thousands of people who've done actual peer-reviewed research.
I was brainstorming new original characters for a cow and horse illustration book. Their names are Mow and Hihin.
The cow has a 1950s cowgirl vibe, while the horse has a 1960s model vibe.
learning that addiction is a progressive narrowing of the range of things that make one happy was kinda life changing for me. i apply it to everything not even just addiction i am always checking to ask if i am narrowing my range of happiness or widening it
always good to check whether your coping strategy has become something that needs its own coping strategies
"is it possible for a [thing] girl and a [different thing] boy to be in a relationship? 🥺" i'll stop you right there. get a notebook cause i'll only tell you once. men and women are not allowed to date each other
it's gonna be okay (/threat)
IT’S GOING TO BE OKAY. THAT IS A THREAT AND A PROMISE.
idk what other disabled person needs to hear this but if you need someone to do something for you that would be very difficult for you to do but very easy for them to do, that is a small favor. you dont have to feel gratitude and guilt at scale based on how hard it would be for you to do it disabledly
also a more general point: you dont have to feel guilty when people do things for you. if someone is offering, or if you ask and they say yes, that means they want to do it. if for some reason they are pretending to be okay with it, that is not your fault, it is theirs. this goes for things you are incapable of doing, things that would be difficult for you to do, and even things that you could do without difficulty. even if youre not disabled. if someone cares about you they should be willing to help you out in the ways that they are able to.
I think transfems deserve abnormal amounts of grace and understanding. The world is against trans women in most ways and when she gets harassed by birthday boys on tumblr everyone acts shocked when a mentally ill woman goes a little insane from being harassed.
Like I do not agree with what every trans woman on here says, even about transfeminism. But god help her if she is a little bit rude, or curt, or suspicious of people who are trying to bait her into fucking up and taking her in the worst possible light.
Trans women are women. I can tell because of the way you fucking treat them.
too many of u act playfully disrespectful to strangers on here
