Remember when I wrote poetry? I should try again soon.
My poem “Mother of Sorrow” just got accepted to be published in the Before I Leave Zine! I’m so excited!!!
… and in the end, as she picked up all the pieces of her life and her heart, she came to realize that the truths she had relied so heavily upon, had been nothing more than lies from the very start.

Quick little poem written between classes.
Love Is Art
Another rough draft of a poem about the same person.
Rough draft of a poem about someone
a poem i’m still working on but wanted to post anyways.
Love Is Within Us
“It’s always the extremes. Either I am too loud or too silent. And somewhere in that noise I seem to have lost my voice and myself.”

Bright
At the very end of each day The moon would rise to her place And as night started to fray The sun would begin her chase
This way many seasons passed With this dance across the sky Two sets of light being cast As from each other, they’d fly
These two celestial bodies bore The trace of female curves each And burning in their very core Were their hearts, under siege
See, they loved each other dearly As moon followed day by day They couldn’t touch, but nearly As sun chased the night away
Slowly, their hearts grew dark Very existence kept them apart But their falling tears ignited sparks Forming stars, cunning and smart
Swirling together, clear and bright Then starting a trail, one after another Building a bridge with all their might Connecting thus both their mothers
The lovers, trapped in a slight daze Locked together, a new embrace Though fleeting like a moon phase They now knew a way through the maze
With every cycle of eternal light They needed no longer lament As they found returning delight If only for the briefest moment
I’ve been writing like shit lately to the point where I’m even embarrassed to share....
“Is it so wrong For my heart to only ever pound When you pull me To the ground By my messy blonde hair? Is it so wrong For my soul to only ever be Exposed when you Whisper to me Those dirty melodies As I’m on my knees? Is it so wrong To only ever feel real, pure joy When you use me and Abuse me; When I’m your little toy?”
— How could it be wrong when its feels so right?
See! I am still writing, in whatever way possible. Rough draft of an untitled poem.
I’ve written some poems! I have to tweak them but I’m glad I’m not abandoning this hobby! Just wanted to say so the like, 2 followers I have don’t unfollow me lol
Hello I have so many notes on my phone for poem ideas but I have yet to sit down and edit them. It is frustrating that I haven’t had the patience to do this yet. I hope sometime this weekend I can get to it.
