all of my friends at uni are into harry potter and i usually feel the need to vet them by asking "are you normal about severus snape?" but they're actually all such normies about it, and i mean that as the highest compliment possible, that i doubt they've ever even heard of snape discourse!!!! yessss i've lucked out!!!

also, the google doodle today was for alan rickman's birthday :( and when my one friend pointed that out everyone else said "awwwww" which leads me to believe that they are, indeed, normal about severus snape

honestly since dealing with snape hate its always surprised me how much people even like mcgonagall bc like??? she’s just as strict/cruel as snape but since she’s good its ok??? 

it wasnt until i became involved on the tumblr hp fandom that ive even experienced this mcgonagall love tbh its just unexpected
