WHAT IF THORIN LET BILBO BRAID HIS HAIR

It's literally the highest honor for a dwarf to let someone touch their hair, to trust them so deeply that they invite them in to touch and weave the strands that are so highly important that only lovers, family, and very close friends can touch

Imagine Thorin just going still and melting into the touch because it triggers the part of his brain that goes, "Oh it's grooming time, I'm being groomed,"

Imagine Bilbo weaving little flowers into the braid while they're on their journey, but he has to replace them everytime they wilt, so after they reclaim Erebor, Thorin has little flower beads made from glass and metal for Bilbo to braid into his hair so they'll last

Thorin accidentally earning himself the nickname, "The Blossomed King" by his people because he always has floral charms in his hair nowadays

The au takes place in the 40s so preserum steve and Bucky, the two were close friends from childhood up until high school.

After graduation, Bucky joins the work force full time, working at the loading docs, making a few close friends, wondering what ever happened to Steve,

Meanwhile, Sarah gets sick, really sick. Steve doesn’t go out much anymore spending all his time and resources trying to tend to his ma.

He runs low on cash, but with his physical ailments physical labor isn’t really in the picture for him. Luckily for him he can sing, and he can sing damn good. He applies at a few clubs trying to become their main entertainment, issue being most of the clubs only take ladies.

Eventually Steve finds a jazz club that cuts him a deal, he can sing there, but he’s got to be in drag. They feel women drag in more customers. He needs the cash, so he takes the deal.

Little does he know it’s a club Bucky frequents after work with his group of work friends. And when he sees Steve and hears him sing, he can’t help but be mesmerized. He falls head over heels for the mystery woman who seems to dodge him every time he shows up, but he keeps showing up. And he always makes sure he gets the table right by the stage.

There’s an old Scooby Doo Promo where they recreate the iconic opening scene of the original Scream movie.

At the end of the promo it’s revealed that shaggy is just prank calling Daphne, which is extra funny because Matthew Lillard played one of the killers in Scream (Stu Macher) as well as playing Shaggy in the live action Scooby Doo movies (and later voicing the character in animation)

The thing that’s absolutely wild is that this promo aired 5 years before Matthew Lillard was cast as Shaggy for the first time.

This is exactly the kind of meta humor that the Scream Franchise loved to play with, but it was a complete accident.

One trope that will never not made me not go feral is when it's a interspecies relationship and a (usually tiny) human goes defensive mode over their non-human partner.

Like, that scene in Beauty and the Beast right before the Mob song when Gaston calls the Beast a monster and Belle gets so mad and just goes "he is not a monster, YOU ARE!" with the most offended face expressions ever

Or a similar scene in Monster in Paris where Lucille goes "there sure is a monster in Paris but it's not him it's you" while using her whole body to shield Francour

Or that scene in Shape of Water where they are trying to break Amphibian Man out and that russian doctor walks in and Eliza just instinctively shield AM, no hesitation

And just how offended Charlie got when someone disrespected Bumblebee. "He is not a weapon" and "HE IS MORE HUMAN THAN YOU EVER BE!!!" while kicking and fighting a guy twice her size. Girl was standing on business

Just an imagine of a tiny human girl protecting her non-human, tall AF boyfriend. Love it

Clark has been leaving freshly wrapped peaches from the farmer's market on Wayne Manor's front step for weeks.

When he and Batman are on a mission, he peels oranges and hands Bruce the slices. The entire Justice League is confused by this, but Bruce has chosen to silently accept it.

Clark frequents an apple orchard close to his parent's farm, because of course he does. He always sends a fresh box of them to Dick's apartment in Blüdhaven.

He's always trading fruit pie recipes with Alfred. He's told Tim how to make the absolute best fruit smoothies, and he's even sent Bruce an edible arrangement.

Eventually, Bruce asks about this, and sweet beloved innocent Clark just goes, "Your whole thing is bats, right? Like fruit bats? I saw them at the zoo, they need constant produce to stay healthy :)"

Bruce calls Clark dumb, but he eats all of his orange slices.
