Bookish Bitches Community Discord
Hello all! We’re so happy to have you be (or consider being!) part of our book-loving community of blogs! We’d also like to invite you to join us over on Discord where a lot of our book discussion will be happening!
What is Discord?
Discord is a chat platform. It’s a bit like Skype but is a little less buggy, in our experience. It’s a great place to have casual conversations with a group! (Essentially it’s a Skype alternative and one that works really well for our collection of blogs)
How do I use it/get it?
It’s pretty intuitive but you can always contact me @perfectlyrose for any specific information! There’s a desktop app and a mobile app that you can download and it’s all free! The website is here.
Where is the Bookish Bitches chat?
It’s here!! There are different channels for the different blogs so you can mute the ones you’re not wanting to participate in or peek in at all of them to tempt you into reading more books :)

If you’re anything like us, it’s way, way too easy to get sucked up in the rigors of life and forget about the fun things- like reading!
That’s where we come in. We here at Trashy Bookish Bitches want to have an online, low-key book club here on tumblr. There will be some great books, fun conversation, and friendship all around!
This particular book club is focused on books that are often maligned and called trashy (hence the name of this blog. Nothing against the books at all! Obviously we love them) So here we’re going to be reading romance novels, chick lit, and other various things and generally have a lot of fun!
Who We Are:
Your resident book nerds are @boobiedook and @perfectlyrose!
Despite our fandomtastic ties, this will not be a fandom-based blog, but rather one focused around our love of reading. Here, we are just two girls with English Lit degrees who want to nerd out with other people about books.
What to Do:
Follow us on here! We’ll be posting the September book selection shortly so stay tuned!
We’ll take about a month to read and analyze the books. There will be some general themes and topics for each book to help start conversations. It’s a read at your own pace kind of book club so you can come and participate as much or as little as you like. Check out our FAQ page for more info!
