Its been two years since we had Tamashina mina in EN and y'all, Leona is still such a genius. Im done with my bachelor degree in economy (in my Azul era) and when i tell you there are times when i literally write in my notes "Leona said this" "this is what he was talking about". The respect i have for him and his ideas, he is mesmerising. Two years later and i still walk out of class once again thinking "this is what Leona meant". At this point, i want to know who's geeking out about economics in the twst writing team. I know they're there 😭.

pleeeeeeeease talk to me about vil 🙏 i am trying so hard to understand this guy and i Do Not Get Him every time i open book 5 i feel like that one meme where it's like "OGRE BARELY EVEN LITERATE, OGRE ONLY CAN IDENTIFY SURFACE LEVEL THEMES" like i'm getting the vibe that he wants to be Seen given the whole 'stay on the stage til the end' thing but oughhhhh much like high school physics i do not get it and i desperately want to :(:(

I dont know if im honestly the BEST to talk about Vil since my territory is more Jamil and Leona... But Vil is not really that far from them, and ofc, Vil fans feel free to correct me.

It is all about "being in second place despite his competence". This boy works.. and i mean WORKS so hard and put his back into his passion.

Ive seen people reduce him to vanity and looks but Vil is honestly all about effort, based off his voice lines and cards. I believe he genuinely wants to be seen and finally "win" for all the effort he puts in, which, i, and I'm sure other people find relatable.

I know he is harsh on himself and others and to each their own but to me he never seemed "too intense" or "too much" he seemed ..right. They had something to accomplish in Book five and they had to lock in for it and he did that. There is so much more to him in book six but i wont spoil it to you because im a real one 🤞.

Tbh Vil's pain to me is the equivalent of "studying hard to get an A but the student who barely shows up to class scores higher than you". I honestly understand his frustration. Also ... The accountability on this guy is INSANE but understandable. You can't self-improve if you dont face yourself and he from what I've seen is always critical of himself before others. Tbh Vil is very complex and reducing him to anything is honestly just missing out on peak.
