Ok, as a biology major, y’all need to chill. Snakes this big are incredibly docile. They have been bred this way. Furthermore, the person taking care of this animal could not properly take care of them if they did not feed them regularly and well. This child is in no more danger than if she was sitting next to a big dog.

ok but can we please stop because people trying to domesticate burmese pythons and failing is why there is such a huge number of pythons in places like Florida when there isn't supposed to be and it really fucks with the ecosystem because now they have no predators and reproduce like crazy and eat all the prey so other predators don't have food so yes they are amazing but no they arent suplosed to be domesticated so leave them the hell alone thank you.
