Weekly Recap: Wait? This is a midsize?
Last week I started traveling again, so what happened last week?
Monday I flew to Hartford. It was one of those rare moments when the plane isn't full, so though the flight was only a little over an hour, inside I was feeling a bit:
The day of our meeting it ended up being 16 degrees and snowing. I wasn't sure I was going to going to get to Cincinnati. The roads were not salted or plowed so the cab was sliding all over the place. Then, the tarmac at BDL...
...if that was BWI if would have grounded to a halt.
When I got to Cincinnati I rented a midsize car, which drum roll please, was a Ford Focus. I'm no car expert, but I'm pretty sure that's not a midsize car. Good try, National.
The Cincinnatian Hotel was beautiful, historic and reasonably priced. I'd recommend it if you are in the area. Bonus perk they had Gilchrist & Soames toiletries. I never use the hotel toiletries, but I did and my hair looked amazing.
After the meeting, we hit the road in my spacious midsize Focus and drove to Indianapolis and checked into the Omni Severin. Another beautiful and historic hotel!
Finally, I'm an avid Foursquare person, I use it more now that I travel and mostly for tips when "exploring" the cities I visit. This week, I reached this milestone:
