It’s time for our first activity check ever since the first major rehaul. Please make sure to reblog this post before the end of next Saturday (7/12, 11:59 PM KST) if you don’t want to be out of an apartment by the end of the week.

I bet that the boys would whine a million times more than us complaining about it if they had to experience the same pain and they say we make a big deal out of nothing! /huffs a little at the thought/ I try not to but sometimes I can’t help it especially since…I guess I can just be a naturally awkward person when I meet new people. I really do want to make friends with more people thought. /shakes her head/ Not really, I haven’t had much time to do so, but I’ve been to the convenience store and the park nearby? /widens her eyes/ Really? What’s it like to be a flight attendant? That had briefly been one of my dreams when I was younger. Is it really as exciting as it seems? /gasps a little all of a sudden/ Oh..right..! I forgot…you’re my unnie right….? Can I call you my Miyoung-unnie..?

Right! {`she snaps her fingers, enthusiasm about the topic growing evident in her facial expression} And on top of that, they don't have to give birth! Like, come on! They surely have it easy. And them being the breadwinners of a family doesn't justify any of these because times are changing. Ugh really. These men... {`mutters under her breath angrily, then suddenly laughs at how heated up she's become about the topic; then listens with an intent look on her face} Oh, I see. Well, at least you can make sure you have a new friend today. {`points to herself and laughs} I mean, we're friends now, right? And don't worry about being awkward. A lot of us are in our own ways. {`nods happily} Well, it's not as glamorous as some people make it to be. It's messy and there's always that one passenger on a flight that makes your job hell for you. {`covers her mouth while she laughs} But it's all worth it when you get to travel. {`smiles brightly} Oh sure! That'd be lovely. And I'll can just call you Chaerin, right?

Ha! I wish I can come with, but you know I have both school and work. {/sighs} My bank account has hardly recovered yet from Christmas and Tokyo Disney, to be honest. I hate bills— {/wrinkles her nose; she really has been trying to wean herself off from depending too much on the allowance her parents give her} I’ll see you on Saturday, then?

Ah…/winces at the other girl’s words, sighing sympathetically/ I totally understand the feeling and it’s definitely not a good one. Let me know if you need any painkillers or anything. Ok? /nods quickly too/ Yeah! The people I’ve been so far have been great, I’ve been here…for a couple of weeks? So I’m still trying to meet more people but sometimes it gets hard because…/coughs awkwardly/ I can tend to be awkward when I first meet someone and…I get hesitant to approach people. Oh, what do you do for a living, may I ask, if you don’t mind. Because you don’t seem like an idol….

I know. {`shakes her head} The things us women have to go through... And they dare call us the weaker sex! {`huffs then smiles brightly and nods} Thank you for the offer. I'll keep that in mind. {`listens intently to the other} Oh! Don't be too awkward! Everyone here's nice. Well, so far, though I don't think they'll really mind a bit of awkwardness. How about the surrounding area, have you explored it already? {`laughs} Ah! I'm a flight attendant for Korean Air. {`she tries not to beam too much but her voice is laced with pride}

{/laughs, nodding excitedly, and already looking forward to the weekend with her sister} Alright, it’s a date. But remember we have to pace ourselves— {/pouts a little} You know I can’t eat too much at a time, and I want to enjoy all that! What are your plans for the rest of the week? Just hang around? Errands?

{`wrinkles her nose and waves her hand} Oh, come on. Macarons aren't that heavy. They hardly feel like anything! {`laughs} But I know, I know. We can always just take it home. {`purses her lips, thinking} I'm... actually thinking of spending a day or two in Uljin. {`shrugs I wish you could come along! Will you really be that busy in the next few days?

{/takes her sister’s hands into her own as the other holds them out; peers at them closely before turning Miyoung’s hands over and placing her own palms on top of them so she can show off her nails as well} True, mine look horrible too. {/frowns} I need to at least clip them shorter, I think. {/laughs and nods} Settled then, let’s go to a nail spa, not just a regular nail salon. That’d be nice, I think.

{`looks at her sister's nails} It does look like you need to have them done. {`squeals softly with delight} That's perfect! It's about time we had ourselves pampered. Especially you, since you seem to be busy with school nowadays. So conveyor belt sushi, and nail spa date, yes? {`smiles brightly} And let's get macarons at Ladurée, I've been craving for them for days... {`trails off} I eat too much. {`laughs}

What… is… funny?? {/pouts at her older sister} I don’t get it. The image is cute. {/lets out a huff, only to break out into laughter afterwards} Yeah, I guess. {/shrugs} You know me, I can’t stay cooped up in one place for too long. It’s kind of funny. During the week, there’s nothing more that I want than to just go home and curl up in bed—but when the weekend hits and I can do just that, I get that uneasy feeling and I just have to do something. {/sighs}

{`laughs again} I said, I don't know. I guess because I didn't know that he liked cats? {`tries to recover from laughing} Well, we are sisters and we're the same. I can't stay at home for too long, but I guess that's good too because it prompts me to go to the gym rather than stay home. By the way, we should do something other than eat out this weekend. How about a visit to the nail salon? {`looks at her nails and pouts slightly} I need to have them done soon.

I can imagine the worst people. Grumpy people being contained in a metal capsule for a long time…. not the best result (`she cringes) Hm… I usually spend my break staying at home, playing with my dog, visiting my mom and sister or now, go to classes since I just started college (`chuckles) I just want to live like a normal 20 year old girl in my free time. For me, it’s the best way to do it (`flashes her a warm wide smile) Mm, well, for us, it’s cheaper with the whole sponsors and everything but for the fans, the price must still be expensive. Yah! (`chuckles shyly, rubbing her cheeks with her hands) We’re not that famous… I think. Pretty sure if we gather the fans up in the Jamsil complex, they could fit in there… but it’s better to not try that (`laughs softly) I don’t really have a favorite city but favorite country, gotta be the USA. It’s just so many varieties in one place, I love it. I hope I can go to many other countries! Ah, it must be tiring to fly right back, hm?

I knoow. {`she pouts slightly at the thought} The children are the worst! They cry and cry all the time and there's just no escape from the sound. Then there are the old people who complain about the smallest things... {`shakes her head then covers her mouth daintily} Oh, gosh, sorry if I'm ranting. {`smiles sheepishly} You seem to be a pretty laid-back person, if you don't mind me saying that. It's... {`narrows her eyes slightly} a little different from how you are when I see you on TV.  {`laughs a little} Ah, you go to college? Wow, it's nice that you still have a chance to despite your schedules. What do you study? {`smiles sincerely} Is it music-related or anything? {`laughs again} Oh, I'm sure you'll fill it up. {`face lights up} Oh, yes! The U.S. is like an all-in-one place. What I like there is the size of the food servings. They're really big compared to what we have here. Which states have you been to, by the way? {`pouts} Yes! But fortunately, that's only the case for short flights like Tokyo or Beijing, so it isn't so bad.

Free clothes… free shoes… free everything. {/squeezes her sister’s arm as she sighs at the thought} Living the dream in our penthouse apartments in neighboring buildings— {/laughs} If only, no? If only it was like crossing a straight line— {/wrinkles her nose, and adds as a mumble} I can’t even give up the monetary support I get from Dad. {/takes a deep breath} Anywaaay— {/nods and laughs} He does, I guess? For school? And when we hang out with friends. He’s a homeboy. He likes staying in. {/shrugs} Meanwhile I like going out… so  just drag him out with me during weekends. {/nudges her sister} Yah, what’s so funny?!

Oh, if only--- {`pauses and presses her lips together upon the mention of their father and gives a thin smile} We'll see about that, soon enough. {`she says this, though she has no idea herself on what she can do, and welcomes the change in topic instead, and she laughs} Oh, I don't know, just... the mental image of him playing with cats! I really don't know. {`shakes her head while fanning her face with her hand} A homeboy, huh? Is that why you're always asking me where you guys can eat out? {`laughs} Well, I guess that's good, too, you can always keep an eye on him. {`smiles teasingly then laughs}

{/laughs and shakes her head} Can’t we just do your show together? You can talk about food and sights, and I’ll talk about architecture around the world— {/grins widely, the image quite pleasing in her head} We’ll be the famous traveling Kwon sisters, rich too, because we’ll get a lot of sponsorships and endorsement deals. {/hooks an arm around one of her sister’s  as she keeps laughing} I know right?! That’s what he’s always doing when I come home from work. Either that or playing with the cats.

{`she gasps dramatically} You're right, that's perfect! Imagine all the clothing endorsements we'll get to do. Ah! Free clothes! {`pumps her fist with determination} We should be selling the idea to some broadcasting corporation right now, I swear! {`laughs again} It would be great, wouldn't it? Seriously, though, how do we get there... {`thinks out loud then shrugs} What? Really? Doesn't he go out or anything...? {`tries to stifle a laugh, imagining Daehyun playing with cats somehow looks funny to her}

Mhm— {/nods slowly} I’m surprised I haven’t pondered a switch in degree, honestly. {/laughs, idly reaching up to play with the tips of her hair} But hey, hopefully, I’ll become a world famous architect one day right?And hopefully fortune will come with that fame. {/grins, playfully nudging her sister’s hip with her own} Hm, he was taking up some business courses last year. He hated those, so yeah, this is better for him, I think. He keeps studying for exams a week early though—so unlike me. {/laughs}

Well, I honestly think architecture suits you. I remember I used to make you draw for my homework. {`laughs} Yes! And I'll feature your works on my travel show, an episode on modern architecture in Seoul! Or who knows, your work might reach other countries as well? {`shakes her head while she continues to laugh} Oh, how I wish it was easy to make that happen. {`nods} Well, if he hated those then he did make a good move, I suppose. {`her eyes widen slightly} A week early? Yeah, you're the complete opposite. {`laughs} Why, though? {`knits her eyebrows together}

Mhm— {/nods, her eyes crinkling at the corners as she lets out a hearty laugh} At least you remembered that. Who can forget that hotel, honestly. {/sighs at the memory of her brief stay in the comfortable, yet very expensive hotel} If only we were rich. Hmm.. {/tilts her head to the side as she gives her sister’s question some thought} He really liked singing, but he doesn’t really do demo recordings these days. {/shrugs} Oh! He loves animals a lot—he actually changed majors to Biology this year, so there’s that. I think he’s thinking of going into vet med? But I’ not sure, in some ways he can be as fickle as me. {/laughs and shakes her head} Oh man, what’s going to happen to us…

Well yeah, that was a pretty astounding detail. {`laughs} Tsch, don't worry. We will be rich someday. {`winks then laughs again; her features relax as she continues to listen} I'll be the next Samantha Brown, you just wait and see. {`laughs again, finding her own words to be a little bit too ambitious} What? That... {`pauses} wow. Well, hopefully this is the last time he'll be changing majors? Vet med sounds like a good idea, though, especially if that's what he likes. {`shrugs and laughs} I don't know, honestly. What was he majoring in previously?

Unnie… {/laughs and shakes her head} We really need to get you more of those memory pills. Do you even remember anything I told you about my Tokyo trip in general?! {/pats her sister’s arm in a mock comforting gesture} I will. {/nods, smiling} Don’t worry about him he’s doing fine. He’s not really working… I was going to help him find a part-time job but, {/shrugs} …he’ll find one when he wants to. {/laughs again} For now he just sleeps, eats and studies a lot.

Ah, we should. This isn't good. This can't be simply because of jetlag anymore. Seriously, though, let's buy some? {`frowns then sighs} I do remember a bit of it!  You stayed at this really fancy hotel, right? {`hangs her head briefly then looks up again to listen} Ah, I see. Sleeps and eats? {`laughs again} Is there anything he's particularly interested in, though? It's not like I can help with job-hunting if he'd really like to find one, though. {`chuckles}

Still, it must’ve been a very exciting job. I’ve always wondered how it feels like to be in different kinds of jobs and flight attendant is one of them (`chuckles) It could be a lot worse and thank God it already passed, right? Now you can spend the rest of your break in peace! (`gives the other a wide toothy grin) I’m just glad the fans love us and it’s like a token of appreciation, the world tour. We know that there are many international fans that couldn’t come to Seoul for the concert so why not bring the concert to them? (`a smile perks up on her features as she think of the fans) we’re really lucky to have them. Mm, when the schedules allow us, we like to explore the city and for me, to take pictures. How about you? Do you get to explore the city after duties?

Yes, it is! {`she wrinkles her nose playfully} You meet all sorts of people, the best and the worst, actually. {`she shakes her head, laughing softly} Me, too. I'm not sure how to spend it actually. How about you, how do you usually spend your breaks? {`grins right back} Ah, that's a very sweet thought. Traveling is becoming cheaper nowadays, but it's still definitely not cheap. And besides, I don't think any stadium in Korea would be able to accommodate all your fans if they all went here, right? {`chuckles} Oh, that's nice! Which is your favorite city so far? {`nods} Oh, yes. {`smiles brightly} It's the biggest reward I get. It depends on the flight schedules, though. Sometimes I get several days, but there are times when we just fly right back.
