It’s been a long time, hasn’t it? I hopped around for a bit, fixing up things to get my life in order, which means taking a break for a long while and then decided to give this blog another chance.
I’ll be dropping all the threads I had previously because I can’t remember any of it. If you’d like to try to roleplay with me again, you can follow me here!

Blind Date Muse Shuffle!
Alright, I made a post about this last night and then I thought, why not give this a shot? Basically, I was once involved in something where you could sign up and were put on a list for an “arranged marriage” thread. So you were put on a list and in the end you were randomly matched up with someone and you “had to” do a thread with them where your characters were involved in an arranged marriage. It was actually pretty fun, so I figured, why not do the same with a BLIND DATE?
So basically you´ll reblog this post with your character’s name in the tags ( if you´re a multimuse you can specify a character or just leave it open and pick one later ) and whether you prefer m/f, f/f or m/m ( if you don´t put anything in the tags I´ll assume you´re alright with either of these things ) and this post will be going around until
Wednesday, May 24th
( Or longer in case not enough people have signed up. ) Once you´ve reblogged this post you will be put on A LIST and then I´ll be using a random generator to match people up. You´re the free to go into each other´s IMs and inboxes to work out a thread! :)

The wizard opened the elegant carriage door to step down and offered his arm to Elsa. Newt hoped that despite the crowds of revelers they would remain anonymous. Though she may be a queen, he wished to help her forget the weight of her responsibilities if only for one night.
Prince Adam’s masquerade promised quite a spectacle for the imagination if the guest list was any indication.
The delicate form of his emerald mask obscured his face, but not the nervous, excited twitter of energy in his bones. “I hope I will make you a suitable dance partner, my lady.” He reached out with a gloved hand; a small smile danced upon his handsome features.
“You’ll not be bored... I promise.”
everafrost:
That’s what he said, the spirit mused inwardly, narrowing her eyes at the explanation he offered. But at least he was willing to cooperate. A light step away as she watched him place the suitcase deliberately and open it, and she leaned in, curious as to what could be hidden there.
What she wasn’t expecting was the man’s stepping inside of it himself, followed at once by the tooth fairy in question–Jocelyn let out an indignant huff at that. The fairy could at least pretend to be on her side, that little traitor.
“I’ll show you.”
Soon as he gestured for her to follow him, he was gone. Jocelyn skipped toward the suitcase, and knelt down, palms pressed on either side of the case and head lowered into the the darkness to take a peek. Is this a portal, somehow? Like North’s snow globes? Or maybe a magical spacey thing, designed to–
And then gravity took hold, and apparently the wind didn’t work quite the same way in this new space, because the next moment she was on the floor, having fallen the ladders and landing head first inside the old, shed-like room. “..Ow.”
Newt seemed amused by her fall as a hint of a smile came onto his features. The magizoologist didn’t mind the commotion nor did it seem the niffler who snuffled at the girl’s body to find shiny trinkets. A consequence of the creature’s predilection for thievery.
With a deft hand, he plucked the beast up to hold under his arm. The fairy he named Lemon Drop landed upon the platypus-like animal’s bill and giggled at the sight of them both.
The wizard waited a beat before attempting to speak. “I find people tend to forget the steps the first time they come into the suitcase… I should redo those spells, eventually.” Newt held out his hand, studying the spirit’s face. “You don’t seem to have a concussion...”
A nod over his shoulder. “When you’re ready, the biomes are behind the door.” The twittering of the fwoopers, the call of the erumpent, and the trill of the occamys drifted through the openings. A brush of sunlight came through under the bottom to highlight the wooden floor.

He wouldn’t allow Theon’s averted gaze or his indecision. For all Newt’s selfless dedication, he couldn’t let him walk away without a fight. The sea breeze may be home, but family was more than the iron in one’s blood. It was a choice borne from the claw marks ripped onto the magizoologist’s throat, the tired head bowed low onto his trousers after a hard day’s work, and the ease of those warm lips on his mouth.
Can I keep you?
Newt took a determined step forward upon the stone. “Am I not yours as well?” His fingers reached to grab the other man’s chin to force their eyes to meet. This challenge needed an answer involving more than words floating upon the salt air.
The taste for blood and viscera needed solidity. “What I’ve given? I’ve done by my own will… My decisions are a part of who I am.“ He needed to feel the ironborn’s decision to walk away down to his bone marrow. “I want you by my side, Theon.” His breath ghosted over his features. "So choose me. Please.”

HAVE FUN, MY LITTLE ROYALS
anirishman:
‘I’m here to set you free, Mister Graves’ How many times had Grindelwald pulled that one on him? Used a spell to turn into Tina, Picquery, Abernathy and a few of his Aurors to tell him that they were rescuing him, to give him hope and then turn back into the cruel man just to crush it. Crush him. Percival Graves was all out of hope.
Dark eyes meet soft ocean green, but Graves feels nothing, makes no connection to the man before him. The last name is familiar – He knew a Theseus Scamander from the Ministry – why would Grindelwald pretend to be Theseus Scamander’s little brother?
The healing spells wrapped him in warmth, and something flickered in his chest before it died again. It would be just like Grindelwald to put on a sweet face and show kindness before he broke him again. Quietly, voice raspy with disuse, he calmly said, “Just kill me, please. No more of this.” Percival Graves was broken.
The badger idealized patience and loyalty. No judgement passed Newt’s calm expression at the hopelessness etched in the edges of Graves’s eyes. Torture didn't allow one to come out unchanged, leaving their faith untested.
In return, his spellwork snapped the locking mechanism with a stronger force than necessary. Newt hated Grindelwald far too much in that moment to keep his iron control.
A steadying breath. “I’m far too selfish to allow you to abandon your resolve.” He refused to avert his emerald gaze. The challenge directed at Graves evident in the determination in Newt’s voice. “You don’t have to trust that I won’t hurt you, but I won’t answer your request.” The magizoologist couldn’t put him down unless he didn’t see any hope in recovery.
It would be against the very ideals Newt desired to protect. “You’re worthy of your life.” He took his first step into cage, then crouched down to inspect the other man. “Please do me the favor of allowing me to prove it to you…”
@travelingkettle // liked for a starter
He wasn’t aware of anything but the surrounding darkness and the silence the came with it. It was always so dark and quiet, and he had nothing but his own hushed breathing and unsteady heartbeat to let him know that he was still alive. That Grindelwald hadn’t killed him. Yet.
He had no hope that he would be rescued. Grindelwald came back every day just to taunt him. To tell him that no had noticed, no one missed him. It wasn’t the torture he endured that bothered him – it was being forgotten.
Grindelwald hadn’t come for him in days, and Graves knew he was dying, no food, water, and his injuries were killing him. There was nothinghe could do but accept his fate.
The silence was disturbed by Newt’s purposeful footsteps as he marched towards the auror’s prison, a mockery to the man who devoted his life to justice at the cost of freedom. The tip of his wand glowed to light his way through the dark, illuminating the mold and decay. His every movement announced in order not to startle the other man.
He heard nothing but the director's labored breaths ringing through his ears. Newt noted the contrast between Gellert Grindelwald and Percival Graves could be seen through their eyes. They both carried different types of desperation.
A soft breath. “My name is Newt Scamander…” He began to weave a layer of healing spells onto Graves’s emaciated form through the iron bars. “Focus on me…”
“I’m here to set you free, Mister Graves.”
It was unfair to ask Theon to fight his own biology, but in the moment Newt’s words had held meaning and had the desired effect. The werewolf crouched low on Newt’s body, claws flexing against his thighs as his ears twitched in consternation. There was something human yet in his eyes, and in the curl of his dark lip. There was cognition beyond what one may expect, courtesy of long years of the curse and the brief connection they’d shared. It would disappear eventually, as such things always did, but he’d remember the actions come morning and thus something might be saved.
Stormy eyes tracked the motion of Newt’s hand a moment too late to see the wand drawn. The growl returned in a guttural rumble, and fur rose along his spine. He moved over Newt once more, teeth bared and mouth opened, but already the spell had begun to weave. Shock mingled with betrayal in his featured, a dark panic that was more human than animal soon took over. He whined as he moved off of Newt, struggling to keep to his feet, to all fours as the case may be.
He turned for a moment, and then his legs buckled beneath them. Still, he struggled for freedom, whimper caught high in his throat. His muscles wouldn’t obey, body failing under the calm of the spell. One last look to Newt, confused and betrayed, and his body collapsed beneath him. There was little natural about it; a werewolf would never willingly lay in the open like this, body sprawled and vulnerable, but Theon had no choice. He was bound, trapped in an unnatural rest.
Sprawled like this the scarring was apparent beneath his thick silver fur. A bite at his shoulder, magic in nature, ill-healed, and another at his hip. One had infected him, but it was impossible to know which. Further scarring marred the lines of his fur, injuries that would be worse when the sun rose once more. For now, however, he was at the other man’s mercy; he had no choice.
Newt counted on Theon’s hesitation to give him the precious moments he needed for his magic to enthrall the beast. The snarled jaw aimed for the tender skin at his throat wouldn’t come without a warning and that was all he needed to survive.
The beast’s desperate stagger to keep upright didn’t disturb Newt as much as staring into the werewolf’s eyes to recognize the man underneath. Theon’s whine compounded the responsibility that came from surviving at the cost of another. The magizoologist would have to be better tomorrow to make amends for his mistakes.
New picked himself off the ground to lurch towards his suitcase, murmuring a locking spell, and then shifting his attention to send a series of warding spells into the thicket of trees. A deep breath. “We’re alright, Pickett…” His other hand rested on his coat pocket to hold back the enraged bowtruckle. The creature’s sharp fingers outstretched over his shoulders, towards the werewolf with a desire to claw out his eyes. “You must realize that revenge is an unbecoming trait…”
The magizoologist crouched down to regard the creature only after Picket had settled. He looked hard at the splayed animal to face what he’d done and his focus took a hold on the cursed marks. A premeditated attack by the knowledge that there were not more bites. It was more than concerning that someone had chosen to inflict a near death sentence onto the younger man.
With a sigh and a frown, he moved to lift the creature. His thumb stroked a steady repetition into grey fur as he cradled the body close to the firm beat of his heart. The watchful eye of the moon gazed down when he descended into the depths of his suitcase to lay the creature on his bed.
Newt hoped morning would bring answers to his many questions.
