Lakeside Hanoi
While touring the greater side of Hanoi, we took to the Truc Bach lake where while closeby buildings provide amazing scenery, the foggy surroundings make your view much more mysterious!

Temple of Literature (2/2)
Part Two of our trip to the Temple of Literature in Hanoi. While all temples follow the same pattern, this little guy in one of the ponds was only to be found here... maybe it’s easier for guys his size to make his catch in smaller waters 👀
Temple of Literature (1/2)
Part One of our short trip to Hanoi’s Temple of Literature. Once again, an inspiring place to reflect and check out the natural and architectural beauty Hanoi has to offer!
Hanoi’s Train street
Something I really wanted to see was Hanoi’s Train Street- a residential spot where a train actually passes through on schedule. Although we were looking forward to it happening, we were on a tight schedule ourselves and so had to move on before its arrival!
The Jade Temple (3/3)
The final piece of the Jade Temple puzzle is the actual temple, rich in gold and decorated in oriental designs and flower ornaments. Most of what you see are offerings, which makes it safe to say their devotion is out of this world!
The Jade Temple (2/3)
The second installment of the 3-piece story of our visit to the Jade Temple in Hanoi. Despite its feeling of peace and serenity, the place is rich in its color and its architecture!
The Jade Temple (1/3)
The Jade Temple- one of many areas in Hanoi where locals visit to pray and to leave offerings. The feeling of peace is something which I hadn’t felt before so it’s moments like this which let me look at myself and reflect!
Time to fish
Despite the water not looking clean at all, we still got to see locals getting their rods into the water to get some fishing done! It seems to me like it’s something which enriches the aspect of community as well being something to pass the time in Vietnam!
Vietnam’s famous Egg Coffee
Part of our Hanoi itinerary was definitely trying the world-famous Egg Coffee ☕️which felt weird at first but tasty nonetheless!
The Huc Bridge
A beautiful pathway towards the Jade Temple in the middle of Hanoi’s Hoan Kiem Lake!
Hanoi’s Old Quarter - A hub for all things Vietnam
A place where we discovered what Pho and Chè were through our friend Tony (which I’m pretty sure is not his real name) and where we got a taste of the people’s lifestyle in the big city. With businesses on every corner of the area, and motorbikes roaming non-stop, the city comes to life every morning and sleeps only just enough to take a break for a couple of hours before it restarts again!
