What do you think about travshauna as a duo?? Can be romantic, platonic or both!!

well i’m sure you can guess that im fond of them LMAO. but to me the essence of travshauna is very… how do i say this. Equal And Opposite. i think on a personal level they can never truly be “friends” or anything of the sort, nor do i necessarily think they’re remarkably similar in personality (though there are definitely some very important traits they share), but on a narrative level they’re so cut from the same cloth that you can match up their seams if you hold them side by side. they’re two bookends on the shelf of grief and anger and helplessness and love. all those shared experiences between them are the reason they can never properly connect with each other And the reason they’ll always, on some level, understand each other in ways no one else can. in ways neither of them really want anyone to to understand them. and that’s why they’ll have to stay on opposite ends their whole lives. their losses are so deeply intertwined that if they were to remain in close proximity, the sheer mass of all of it would suffocate them both.

now if we’re talking alternate universes i frequently call them twins or each other’s evil stepsiblings, but make absolutely NO mistake this is not something i usually take in a wholesome direction and also doesn’t erase the violent and sexual shades their canon dynamic is painted with. in fact it can enhance them greatly if done right. so yes in a way travshauna is incestgem. to me!!!

also lately in particular i’ve been rotating the two of them in relation to what the show has to say about “feminine trauma” in my mind but i don’t know if i can word it exactly how i want to just yet so… maybe another time. thank u for the ask even tho i just said a whole bunch of bullshit. very exciting
