              Tristan couldn’t help but smile as his eyes were glued to the beautiful red head, her friendly and bubbly voice resonated a sense of nostalgia within him, reminding him a bit of his mother. A small laugh escaped his lips as he watched the girls hip swing as she spoke of the milkshake. “Well you have convinced me, apple pie with ice cream, and a milkshake to wash it down.” He said with a growing smile as he handed the menu back to her. “You know if I don’t finish it all I might need some help.” He said with a slightly raised eyebrow, wondering if he could get the chance to talk to the girl some more. There was something about her that stood out to him. and he wanted to know more. 

          “ Perfect choices, sir. ”  Offering the patron a wink, the redhead proceeded to scribble down his order in her little notebook  -  the saviour for every waitress with a terrible memory  -  before tucking it into the pocket of her apron.  Taking the menu from the man, she held it against her chest beneath loosely crossed arms, smile unwavering as he spoke.  “ I’m sure I can help in that matter, ” lowering herself and leaning in, Amber moves a hand to cover her mouth from the prying eyes of the cook, “ the apple pie is actually my favourite, no lies or marketing talk earlier. ”  Standing upright and offering him a nod, Amber slips into the back with the order, returning soon after with the desired apple pie and milkshake.  “ Voila ! ”

          Standing behind the counter, Blair flicks her wrist gently as she maps out another cake design for a local wedding  -  a petite girl and a rotund man having a small church wedding with a large reception, which means they need a statement cake to blow the minds of those attending.  Just as she’s sketching out the cake toppers, the bell above the bakery door jingles a delightful tune and lifts her attention away from the towering design.  “ Hello there, how may I help you ? ”
