❝ Ah, you regretting this job you’re in? Could be worse, you know. Could be guarding Deathclaws. ❞
a smile, in spite of the perilous situation he was in. He’s not sure how it escalated to this; one minute he was calmly walking along the outskirts of diamond city, the next minute dragged away kicking and cursing as a blind had been placed over his head. Anyway, he’s not new to the experience of being kidnapped, as has been proven so many times.
— he just wondered why the hell the thugs around here enjoyed the so-called game of “capture the Nick.”
❝ Hey, so, listen here. I have no idea what the hell is going on. Help an almost-man out, would you? What’s the whole shtick your boss has conjured up? Or, better yet; care to tell me how much he’s paying you for this? ❞
“Wow, I thought you are a detective, not a politician. I ask
something and get more questions about entirely different
things...”
13 replied, hand raising to rub his temple slightly before sighing, shrugging.
“Look, I don’t really care for this group or their plans. They
just happen to pay quite a bit. 100 caps a day, which makes
quite a bit after awhile. And I guarded Deathclaws once. As
long as they are locked away they are as dangerous as a
synth behind bars.”
Again he shrugged, crossing his arms in front of his chest again, head tilting to the side as he eyes the man. or almost-man as the other said.
“As far as I heard... and as far as I can connect dots they’ll
probably rig you. Got some explosives, some hackers...
figure something to further the fear of Synths. Which, well
makes them the bad guys. But well paying bad guys.”
